The first thing I noticed is that the Richmond station still has the double gates; they were installed after a horde of teen delinquents stormed a BART train, and assaulted and robbed its passengers. I think you'd still be able to find news coverage about it from a couple years ago.

It’s a yes and no answer, sometimes BART trains are safe but some are not.

@@RockShasta1525 agreed. juts like here in dallas on the DART. 99% of the time it is safe. but you always have people looking to cause trouble. just have to watch your six and pay attention to your surroundings. always better to travel in pairs if you can. I will actually be riding BART from Richmond to Millbrae in 2 months. have to catch bus 292 to me hotel north of SFO. coming in on Amtrak and flying out of SFO. SO i am watching this to see how each station looks so when i get there i can make the transfers somewhat smoothly. now i just have to figure out the clipper card app. LOL
