It's crazy to think that I started med school in the Philippines in 2012, and ELEVEN YEARS LATER (gosh), I am down to one last exam before I can officially be a board-certified Family Medicine US MD - luhh!!!! Hi po doc! Sana mapansin. I recently moved to the US and is an IMG. i have not done externships/observerships. Im a fresh grad sa medicine and was not able to finish PGIship due to my visa expiring this Jan 2024 so I had to come. Im planning to take the USMLE. Any advices po that you can help me? Hello, Doc Aura, I'm not sure if I'm correct but i remembered once you said in pbb na you're scared of blood, how did you overcome it po? Huhuhu kasi lately I've noticed na everytime i see my blood (from wound) i feel dizzy huhuhu, I'm not sure if maybe i just feel in pain or it's really because of the blood. I'm planning to enter med school next year pa naman doc huhuhu i need your adviceeee

i'm not scared of blood. what i don't like is when something looks like it hurts. don't let this stop you. the more you see blood, the more you'll get used to it. all it takes is one simple moment na "ay hindi ako natakot today" for you to keep building that confidence.
