This past summer I was hoonin a bit too much around a sharp corner and started veering into the ditch, and instead of breaking, I just pushed down to my left and leaned further into the corner. It was a bit scary, but i knew the bike could take way more than I was giving it.

I RIDE HERE ALL THE TIME!!!! This is route 88 to Canyon lake. He rode past the lake, past the saloon at Tortilla Flats, and ran down the second half of the twisties. I was recently hit head on out by the lake, got hit by a drunk driver and he destroyed my bike. Love to see my local spot getting rode, stay safe out there brah. S

I got my hands on a C7 for a weekend and I took my dad out there in it. The road was closed at that shop area at 7:23 though. The twisties were a bit tight for the vette so more of a technical feel than a rippin feel but still alot of fun. Im very tempted to ride out there but I just get too nervous about hitting a dirty corner and eating shit. You definitely got my heart rate up, haha.

Having driven this road many, many dozens of times, the camera does NOT do the road justice on just how gnarly it can be if you do things to upset your car/motorcycle. I love coming out here at least once a week for a rip lol. Mostly at night though.

Finally an H2 in the twisties! I wanted an H2 but ended up getting a 2022 ZX1400R and a 2022 Hayabusa. I would definitely like to rent one for a week! Great advice about coming into a sharper corner. Have to keep them eyes looking out of the turn too.

@@earlgunman6325 The Kawi as far as performance and comfort and the Busa has a slight edge in styling and digital display! If I had to pick which one to keep it would be the kawi. I like the clutch feel on the kawi better and that they put steal braided brake lines from the factory. I will change out the lines on the Busa later when needed lol. Do you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 ZX14? I believe 2012 and up is Gen 2. I'm going to flash the ECU on the Busa soon but the Kawi has enough power just adding slip-ons. I noticed the power difference between the two bikes in 1st and 2nd gear. The Kawi is 1440cc to the Busa 1340cc. Oh I can't forget, the Busa is making me want to put a quick shifter on my kawi. Another advantage the Busa has is cruise control which is pretty cool on a sports bike.

@@rocket3man371 I've got a gen 1 without all the nannies on it. It only had a little over 9k miles on it when I got it and it's pushing 15k now. I've ridden a few busas but not a gen 3. No doubt the 14 is more comfortable. I want to say the 14 handles better too but the busas I've ridden have all had at least a small stretch and lowered so my sample pool isn't exactly apples to apples. I'm probably going to upgrade in the next year or 2 even though mine is still in great shape and never let me down. I haven't decided on if I'll upgrade to a brand new one or just a newer used, but it'll definitely be another zx14. There's been rumors about kawi discontinuing the 14 for the past few years, but if kawi ever comes out and says that it's the last year for them I'll go ahead and buy a new one for sure.

@@earlgunman6325 The 2022 ZX14r is the final year bro! They discontinued it after 2020 but had some left over so they just gave them new paint scheme. I was sold on the black, grey and red of the 2022. I also liked the all white version years back and the blacked out version. The H2 line is kawi new line of Ninja's. To be honest if I could only keep one bike in my stable it would be the ZX14r, it is my favorite commuter bike. There are some after market pegs I think I will get for the Busa that will make more comfortable.

They did announce that they were going to discontinue a few years ago, and Suzuki announced that they were discontinuing the Hayabusa as well, but here we are a few years later and still getting new models.

​@@gulfcitynd A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for. I've ridden and love small displacement bikes, you can corner them just as hard if you want, but no motorcycle is a safe thing. If you watch in the video @Gixxer brah wasn't riding at 100% every turn, he would vary depending on the situation. Keep in mind too, this is him coming back down the same road, he isn't ripping it blind. If your risk profile is lower than most that's perfectly fine, I tend more on the safer side too. However go watch motorcycle instructors like @motojitsu, he and others will do 90+ mph in the twisties because they understand how to mitigate risk with proper riding skill and a little foresight. You'd be surprised at how hard one can actually go while remaining in total control.
