Taking Time Off To Make Harry Potter's Golden Snitch

I spent some time making an iconic item from one of my favorite novels, Harry Potter - The Golden Snitch, arguably the prettiest, and the hardest thing to catch in a Quidditch match. This has been on top of my bucket list for a really long time, so, of course... I took it very seriously.

So roasted milk ganache is just for gluing the feather? why do you need to make so much? I think that entire step can be skipped and use food glue/rice glue etc instead the amount is so minimal you won't be able to taste much anyway.
