@@Blades500 True, but the list of restrictions is still clearly more strict than it needs to be. If you're careful about it, you can find a way around almost anything. I've eaten a lot of stuff I've been told not to and I've only lost one bracket to a conversation heart.

Not really, they're telling you to be careful cause braces are stupid expensive and it costs money every time you go in to get the fixed not to mention extends your treatment. The main reason this ones not breaking is cause there's only one bracket and its not connected to anything else. A full set of braces and wires would put tension on the bracket, the hard, crunchy, and gummy foods that dentists tell you to avoid add more tension in the wrong direction. Your brackets aren't made to handle this so the vertical tension combined with the horizontal tension will weaken the glue bond over time and break your bracket. No matter how careful you are you can't beat basic physics.
