How convenient to have that 220v receptacle out there. I would first check into the wire gauge they used on that 20 amp breaker circuit because you need to know first, if the existing wire they used can carry more than 20 amps. Remember, the breakers are to protect the wiring and prevent fires, not the things that are plugged into the receptacle. That wouldn't be something to overlook due to the risks in over amping the circuit, especially with hours long usage of current.
@kevinmunro346613 күн бұрын
Hey! Just wanted to chime in to let you know that the breaker is sized for the wire gauge so you never want to just put in a larger breaker without also replacing the wire because that will just be allowing too much current to flow through the wire, which would be a fire hazard. Enjoying the video as always!

📍Jocelyn, your watering system may be pronounced ratio but spelled differently because it ratios the water needed..🤔 Love your new home & property, the area is gorgeous, and all of the structures you have are so cool, happy for you!! You both are doing such a nice job on the projects! 🥰

Hi Taku/Jocelyn, Electrical Engineer here and I just wanna say that y’all should avoid changing the 20amp fuse to a 26amp fuse. The wires for that outlet was probably design to handle maximum 20 amps. Changing the breaker maximum threshold to 26amp could cause a fire. If you guys want to upgrade the breaker amperage, then you would also need to upgrade the wiring to the 240v outlet as well. Or seek professional help. Hope all goes well!

🛑😯 Jocelyn, I never inquired where exactly you guys now live so when I heard "California is burning", I thought of my KZbin family there. Been following you guys for like 4 yrs and you've, as I said actually walked on exact concrete 'n dirt space, seen same view sights I did when I was stationed in Cali. Told ya where to get strawberries at off Monterey area. Glad you guys are located North and back with me, though a week late🤔. Thanks for showing up. Memphis,10🇺🇲 Hoo-aahhh

I’m glad you found Molly’s owner. I hope you told them to put a tag on her collar w/their phone number. Why put Molly and other people through the unnecessary stress of locating the owner for such an easy fix. Luckily Molly found you to help. Yay, the pottery studio is going to turn out great. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Tbh, a remotely similar thing happened to my family. As soon as we adopted our previous dog, so many stray dogs followed us on our daily walks. Since we live within city limits, we called our local shelter. We stayed in the area, whilst waiting for animal control to pick them up. 🐶
