Nice job on the glazing Nige, and a great tip about making bulbs from clear spru! I shall be using that in the furure mate!

To be fair Nigel that Starboard side is the side used for entry & exit by the crew so it's more than likely that those door hinges are indeed worn..probably were when the original airframe was LIDAR scanned, Ive crawled around well used aircraft for years and found this to be the case. Looking great so far.

Looking fantastic Nigel! I'm building the same model and had the same exact thing wrong with my glazing but I'm having it open so no worries there. So don't think you did anything wrong, it's the kit.

Looking great Nige, seen that technique with the extra thin myself, it never works the way a good shake of the pot works.

Hi Nigel this has been a very informative build videos, I have the AH-64D Longbow Apache, l like to thank you for all the pitfalls within the instructions, I had noticed the are very vague and not consistent where to put the parts, it would be nice for colour call outs to help paint the model, yes there are lots of references at hand to on the net. Just seen the Meng version looks good I will be getting one of these when released. Look forward to part 8, how is Jess she was on form in last video.😎🦅👍

Not sure if the little red light is a navigation light but if it was it would be on the port side of the aircraft rather than the starboard side (green).
@NigelsModellingBench
@NigelsModellingBench Жыл бұрын
Both sides are red so no, they are not nav lights. I believe the round ones in front of them are though?

@@NigelsModellingBench Yes you are correct. The aft light appears to have the option of white or red globes and may be some sort of day/night position/formation lights.

Fantastic attention to detail Nige. Re the shaking of the glue bottle as the glue is low - have you pulled out the bottom section of the brush? I couldn't quite make that out on the video.

It's a very old tip that pretty much everyone knows about now Phil. I still wonder why people "pump" the bottle though?

@@NigelsModellingBench I know, everyone I watch on YT seems to have a bottle tick of some sort or another! Perhaps unconsciously it's something they've seen their mother do with bottles of nail polish!!

I came to wonder about kits you concern yourself with. Are they all true interests of yours or are some meant for the good & interests of other modelers? Example, are you actually a helicopter enthusiast or are you doing them to cater to a vast interest group? I mention it only as to me, that sky crane kit is just a "meh. Considering the space.needed for rotors.
