Halcyon will be one of the few pianist that will save the world! Anyways, this song really sounds kinda strange in my opinion, the left hand patterns are irregular and the melody itself makes me sorta confused. But listening on, it starts sounding good and makes more sense in where each parts are placed.

was loving the beginning of the anime, having watched a short review video of it I came in with super high expectations and sadly those have brought down the quality in my eyes. There's nothing wrong with it that would keep me away as a normal viewer though, am loving the way music is incorporated into fights and I might pick up other shows with a similar concept. Personal gripes: The video I watched had put the expectation into me that they would only use music during fight scenes seeing as the enemy only appears and becomes violent around music, however once they started using music to which I was keenly listening for due to its assumed absence in a normal conversation, outside on a porch no less, it immediately brought me out of the story and killed that episode for me. I don't think many of you had the same expectation but the reason that specifically had such a profound effect on me is that they reinforced my assumption in the first episode and in flashbacks where the only music played was before and in battle, in a soundproofed room, and during a festival where the enemy promptly shows up and destroys the instrument. thanks for anyone reading I really needed to rant to nothing

I am very happy to have found this cover. Too bad it's probably beyond these arthritic fingers to play it myself, though I might get the sheet music anyway! I am a big fan of this anime series and of its music. I only noticed halfway through that the lyrics were shown in the video. I've been having fun singing along in Japanese using a separate online lyric page--this video will make that easier. I truly wish I understood the words better, as even translated lyrics cannot correspond word-for-word. Thank you for this fine video.
