the thing is ,the big thing is ,have a look at Richy walking around the market ,all the happy faces ,same nationality . No trouble ,locals .however rich or poor happy with their lot and not freezing cold because the energy prices are too high ,stuck at home to scared to go out if you told a Thai what is happening in the UK now they wouldn't believe it

You mean there is actually a system for the buses?! That's crazy though to gamble up to 20 minutes to departure - and if it's on time anyway. More love for the train system 😄 I couldn't believe how many mussels that lady had on the market stall bench, just lying there in the heat 😳! Just thinking about your previous tummy bug and seafood experience. Good, clean hostel there at Ranong and £8 a night, that's amazing value. Still, there are very low numbers of westerners there, which is great.

Hi Greg, yes I do miss the trains mate. So much easier. I also wouldn’t dream of going near the mussels, I’m sticking to my own advice on seafood from market stalls. It is so good to be off the tourist trail again and the accommodation is great. I never used to stay in hostels but the prices and facilities are great in most😊

Thanks Anthony, until recently I wouldn’t have dreamed about staying in a hostel but since I started they’ve been amazing. The facilities and information you get are second to none, also extremely cheap mate.

Koh Phayam is pronounced same as Koh pie-am. You are saying it same as the place near Koh Tao. I had a week there couple of years ago. Be aware of the little fat white dog near the temple. It bites 😊 I had 2 nights in Ranong on the way home. Found a lovely little place 20 baht a dish, beer from a local shop. Decent little place. Oh I forgot, 90 minute walk from the town to rhe docks. I enjoy a nice walk rather than jumping in cabs

Richy, I just spent a moment looking at the number of views and the titles too. I' m curious if covering some subject matter that's deemed appropriare for what might be considers 'technical' gets a slightly higher ad revenue to the vid creator. Hmmn. Maybe just seeing someone at work ... like weaving, sparks from a grinding wheel, a wrench doing tightening, etc might fit the description. I'm just not really certain how it works at YT anyway. South somehow coincidentally is a word associated with views. Is this just chance - or can you just video some tech sparks flying someplace and title the video "South Pakua Pa sparks flying", for instance & get more views? I know this sounds crazy. People don’t actually search for the term but do they pick words out of a list to view? Curious how the algorythm selects it's audience recommendations. Idle curiousity? Anyway, enjoy your day. Have you ever tried to get your hands on a fishing rod & land some dinner? The sight of a cooking fire might attract some of we moths. Happy trails. 🌲😎🌲

Hi Ritchie, just a quick obseravation i was watchibg a vlog of yours rom Phucket where a monkey tried to grab your camea it was funny and you had a great close up of the monkey. I think you are missing out on views by not using things like that in he thumbnails and titles , like the monkey with the injuedd leg you fed that shoul be in he thumbnail you would grab more views.

I do a lot of the rural areas mate because that’s what I enjoy, but for tourists holidaying they’re not so popular. In time the channel will pick up hopefully.

Another great video mate. Loving your travel adventures in the real Thailand. I'm supposed to be coming to Thailand on the 20 February but unsure if I'm coming or not. Watching your videos is very inspiring to go and get out and about to discover different areas of Thailand instead of Pattaya/Jomtien. Maybe I'll do 10 days in Thailand then a week in Vietnam.
