Great sighting by Mozam Bleek of the two young Talamati males hunt big Buffalo bull, and then facing off against another big bull when it comes to the rescue.

I think the 3rd brother was most bonded to one of the sisters who also died. I think I read somewhere they were likely killed by PC males (or at least the female) but don’t quote me on that because I may remember incorrectly, in fact only mentioning it in this comment in hope that someone can correct me and clarify. However, Silver Eye, Queen T and DM Avocas did brilliantly to raise into adulthood most of their kidz - what an achievement!

Actually I don’t think it would be so bad at all if the BD males settled with the main Talamati and the Nkahulu’s left the area until all the kidz in this area grow up (but one never knows). Just not enough lionesses in this area. The Styx, the Talamati breakaways, and the southern pride, the Othawas, Tsalala, and the sand river pride offsprings surviving and then birthing more girls would really make a huge difference in a couple of years but all the poisoning and contamination in the area - the chances looking slimmer and slimmer.

Obvs with the lions in the need to feed, but if the dugga boys just held their ground or charged the lions they’d be invincible. I’d lose my nerve vs lions too, but I’m not a bossed solid power buffalo !
