There were tiny set-screws on mine keeping those threaded inserts from coming loose. They are on the underside of the lever housing where you don't see them. I didn't know that and made them hard to get out. Probably why your spring didn't come out also.

Did you have to cut a wire? The company that I bought my bike from sent me a guide but it says to cut a wire before doing the 6 second hold etc to unlock the bike, I really don’t want to cut a wire lol😭

@@onetwo937 wish I knew. We were told to cut it. Then sur ronster posted right after and said nothing about cutting. I guess just try without cutting the wire first. Hard to find any solid info on these bikes.

Great video. Totally a based question here, but in your opinion does the Talaria sting offer more "bang for your buck " over the Sur ron? or is there quality issues?

Well, reasons I bought a Talaria over a Sur ron were multiple reasons. In Canada we cant get surrons for under like 7k after taxes. I personally like the look of the Talaria way better. And also the Surrons werent really available to buy in Ontario right now. Honeslty the Talaria is so cool, havent regret the purchase at all. Its clean decently quick and looks great. Only thing that sucks is dinky pegs, and low handlebar height, which can be fixed with mods.

@@quinnybagztv Cheers mate, this is a better answer than I was anticipating. For whatever it is worthwhile to know I'm also in Canada, ON. The Talaria's wider frame to allow for larger tires and the fact that it has a dedicated gearbox is really making me feel envious of your awesome bike. I may even bu ythis brand new over the discounted used sur ron being sold nearby me

Another Ontario talaria owner chiming in here I also went with the talaria because it was 5499 vs 5999+ less than the surron, ( I also lucked out and got a demo model from my local dirtbike store so it was even cheaper, 4700+tax) I'm just shy 6ft 230lbs I find that talaria is a little bulky and a little higher for bigger people. And has lots of power just by doing the button dance everything that everything that is considered a flaw can be fixed with mods, absolutely love my purchase
