Talaria Sting R MX4 Display Walkthrough

Hey there y’all, today we’re going to run through the menus and features of the Talaria Sting R MX4 display. Note that XXX bike uses gear ratio 1-6.8 for stock sprocket.

Any one know about the wheel size my display is set at 19 inch but on the back I have a 17 inch in the front is a 19 inch so im thinking as it's taking the information from the back wheel I need to put it at 17 inch

I love the IDEA of having 4 ranges of regen, I wish mine did! It is extremely weak in 4, forget about the lower settings. Much less than a 1 year old Sting, we tested my R against it on a hill, and my lesser regen was real obvious But I understand this will be remedied soon on new bikes, and maybe a fix for ones like mine out in the field.

My brand new XXX won’t accelerate. Throttle engaged it jerks forward and back at times. I do not have a wait message. I tried this match sequence and it fails. Bikes a dud and CS is wanting me to trouble shoot for them. I’d much rather prefer a replacement bike sent as I am local in socal.

The lead tech from Luna cycle just asked me to drive this bike an hour away to the shop to be fixed. It’s a brand new defective bike. You guys send me a replacement. Don’t expect me to rent a trailer and lug it up to you guys taking time out of my day. What a joke of customer service for even suggesting this.

I think I found a glitch with the bike and a magnet the other day and I thought my bike was broken. If you want I can send you what happened so in case it happens to others, I am sure its a first of its kind, but I did find out how to fix it. Thanks.

I have a sting r with around 1k miles, everything has been perfect so far but there has been an issue with the speedometer not working. The miles don’t add to the odometer and the speed doesn’t show at all while riding, (stays at 00). When going through the startup procedure it stays in waiting mode although you are still able to ride just without the above mentioned things. Also changing spot to eco mode stays showing in “waiting”. Please help!!!!!

@@TeamhuskyTeamhusky I emailed Luna cycles about the issue and they traced it to a faulty or defective display and sent a replacement in the mail for free. I would email their customer service and see if they’ll do the same for your bike

@@kylemckenna6449okay thank i just did but only because now it’s gotten to the point where in sport mode there isn’t anymore torque than in eco mode the top speed is still there just not even enough torque to pop the front wheel up :(

Got the same problem Speedo doesn't work says wait. Power works then cuts off. So annoying
