That is a wicked build thanks for sharing! Seems an ungodly some but if the upgrades make it your daily rider then we’ll worth it. I’m all about improving rideability and none of my rides are stock. My favorites are the battery/controller then front/rear suspension also the better rubber. Being able to adjust the ride height is also nice! All in all tough as nails mate!

Good shit bro. Bike is clean. Just got my xm4. So far only performance upgrade I have is the ebmx x9000 controller. Haven't put it on yet. I might try to tackle it tmrw also picked up the shinko 244 which I'm putting on Tuesday. This is my first bike , and it's a blast. Keep up the content bro.

What does the ebmx do for the r?

It will do the same as any other aftermarket controller, similar to the KO it works with your stock display and can be configured really easily using a phone app. In regards to performance it will be able to run any high power battery and still have crisp smooth throttle. It’s a better option than the KO stuff for its reliability and smoothness. Thanks for watching 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great! Can I ask how tall you are and how comfortable you are on this bike? Do you think putting a combination of 21 18 wheels would lift the bike?

Im 5 foot 8 - Short in simple terms! The addition of 21/18 wheels would lift the bike significantly, you can also lift the front forks using a drop crown like I said then also run taller tires and riser bars, there are plenty of ways to make the bike suit people to about 6ft 5. Peg lowering brackets are an option too! I have a tall friend he uses 21/18 and uses a seat extender! I feel very comfortable on the bike and have smaller rear wheel than stock so slightly lower! Yeah the 60v 63ah fits into the standard lid! No need to change it to a big, ugly one…. I added about 2mm of washers under the latch to give it a touch more clearance and its spot on 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What power settings are you using on the nano with the 60v 63ah battery? Dc and phase? Thinking of buying 1 this month.

Thanks for watching. On a 60v 63ah running 195a dc 485 phase amps, i wouldnt reccomend the KO nano. I also have another bike with a BAC 4000 fitted to - which feels much smoother and throttle is much crispier. The KO have their issues with throttle and cut outs and not being able to move the bike if its rolling backwards ect. I’ll be going to an ebmx x9000 in the future hopefully. Hope this helps 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Hey thanks for watching! Yes this is all true, its crazy the amount of money these bikes take to make them fast, reliable and well handling! I never thought I’d end up with it being so expensive, I initially was going to keep it stock! Now its time to build the surron 😎 new series on a lower cost surron build for offroad is coming this week! The xXx is excellent value for the money btw! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Hey mate great videos, I got an 18inch rear wheel with a 90/100/18 Mx tyre, I would have to chop off all the knobs as it grabs the chain, how did you do it?

Yeah brother you have to remove enough of the chain side knobs for clearance, if you also dish the wheel over using a spoke wrench you don’t have to cut so much off !

Man that's a dope build. How are you liking that battery? What kind of range are u getting and what's your top speed? Can you push more then 13kw . Debating between a ,72v and 60v. Currently have a EBMX x9000 controller I'll be putting on this weekend.

Hey bro, thanks for watching! So 13kw is the max for this battery on my current tune, it will go over 70mph GPS at 13kw on 48t sprocket. Averaging 30mph the battery will do 60miles of range. I have a 72v coming for my second bike (surron) which will be a 72v 50ah at and should provide similar range and performance. If you want to have 14/15kw of power and hit 85mph then 72v is the way to go but at that power level the stock motor gets hot fast and can overheat - as well as some range is removed from the battery. I believe 60v is a good middle ground for range and power and compact size. Hope this helps! 🤙🏻👍🏻

@@stingyrogerr That sounds amazing range and power wise. I'd be happy with 13kw around 70mph. And 60 mile range around 30 is what I was hoping. The 72v 57ah battery I hope can be in the 60 mile range, I can set it to 13kw and still have the power to go up if I want it. Idk when I have the money saved I'll have a better idea. Hey so question for you. Is their a way to rebalance the battery? I goty xm4 about to weeks ago and never got the battery below like 30% maybe once or twice. I usually ride for a bit and charge to 100 but now I'm noticing my battery seems to drop a lot quicker then it did. Any tips to reset battery? Thank you bro. Keep up the good content.

@YoungWise2011 thats great to hear! There will be a new video tomorrow! i am getting a 72v 50ah battery in a few weeks so maybe wait for the review on that and we will have a good comparison! I believe a 50ah 72v will be similar in range to my 60v 63ah! I had this issue with my surron a few years back! I fixed it by plugging in the battery to charger, leaving the charger to turn green and after the fan stops, leave the battery plugged in for a few more hours, I believe the charger can still balance the cells way after the charger finishes the fan and the light turns green!

@@stingyrogerr Yeah well I usually leave it plugged in over night. Maybe I'll try draining it down to 5% then back to 💯 and see if that helps. I think cuz I use a little bit of battery and fully charge it again and again . Idk . Looking forward to the comparison. Ebmx has a 60v 65ah and a 72v 57ah going with one of those because I have a EBMX x9000 controller.

Since making this video my bike has changed massively if you look at some of my latest posts I’ve got a sotion motor, 72v 55ah dominator v3 28kw battery and Nucular controller, The shock is £950 Battery £2700 Forks £550 (fast ace 2.0 are my new forks and are better) Brakes £400( hope v4 e4) WGT racing wheel set £585 (best wheels on market 19/16 check latest video) Nucular p24f £800 Once youve done this stuff your bike is maxxed out in terms of performance everything else is just aesthetic. Haha good thinking!! You could as long as you had a special double sided wheel hub and special fork mount made for a caliper on both legs ! Many guys run dual rear brakes as you can get a mount which takes two calipers and then run one lever to the bars and another as a foot brake! Hope (mtb company) also make a double lever to go on the bars! It would be pretty cool to see though! Thanks for watching 😎😎😎

If you want double the braking power, the best option is to drastically go up in rotor size. The larger the rotor, the larger the mechanical advantage. I believe the largest you can fit right now is a 250mm kit available from Rippin Moto. Don't even need to replace the calipers (other than a fitment kit and upgraded pads)

When you get a talaria (if you dont have one) - you can do those to it! 🤙🏻👌🏼 Sounds like it will be a really nice build! 👀 Mine has a tail light but not mirrors - they’re not required in the UK on a daytime off road vehicle license, neither are indicators ect. They just get caught on branches. Im guessing you’re from a different country though by the comment. There are different Versions of the MT5 and Yes the Original MT5’s are Shit but The MT5 “ESTOP” Version are what and Why People Recommend them because They are in fact Great✅. Most don’t know NOT TO BUY THE ORIGINAL because No One Talks About it😶✨
