I had to have a giggle when I saw you making a shrimp cocktail with a perfect avocado and outside is like ten feet of snow. That is so far removed from my existence. That little area under the shelf would be a great place to store babies diapers, burp cloths small items. You made great use of a small area...I slept in a dresser drawer for 7 weeks after I was born. Your beautiful baby bed is much better than my dresser drawer. 🌷❤🌷

@@earthangel8730 , you betcha I was loved. My poor Momma had to have her gallbladder removed 2 days after she brought me home from the hospital. It was a short notice kind of thing. The next door neighbor woman dumped what she had in that dresser on her bed and told my Dad, she'll sleep right here and won't know the difference. My neighbor had an old Brownie camera, black n white and took a photo of me sleeping in it. Dad took it to my Mom.....our neighbor was a good, faithful woman. She always called me Daughter. ❤

Love seeing what you can do with an ax and draw knife! Box joints and dovetails can be cut with a small saw and chisel. Mayvw some day you can make a hope chest, with dovetail joints.

@@olaela4953 In Scandinavia babies are left outside in the freezing winter weather. But wrapped up extremely snuggly. When parents say go into a coffee bar or.... the prams are left outside. Should it cry or... a passer by will surely alert the coffee bar or.... The kids all grow up healthy and never die from the cold. Kids in central Europe as well. They never get kidnapped or whatever. Very safe in fact. Far better than a baby / kid being in a stuffy room. Enjoy your day in the fresh air.

It's a great little bed for the baby. As a North American I can tell you that people get way too many things for their babies. They only need the basic necessities as newborns. I've been watching you channel for a long time but 1st time I seen this video, I must of missed it. I seen the one where baby was born but not this one. The baby bed looked great! My 1st baby his bed was a dresser drawer...I know thats funny but I set it on a chair near my bed. He liked it just fine. But when you feeding on demand baby sleeps with you most of time anyway. Its been 48 years since I had my 1st child. Each one so precious and different. Your little boy is so sweet. I wish I could just love and squeeze him. I love his dimples on his face. Such a doll. My Cot was a large wicker laundry basket and my sister still uses it for laundry today. And I am almost 79. Such a basket on a removable rocker base might be a good idea as the basket is transportable. As built your shelf/bed makes a lot of sense to this old bachelor for feeding through the night. And a cot can be added as the little person gets more active and the feedings space out. Also a basket can be placed on the bed during the day to free floor space. And a rocker base slid under the bed. the old buy Bert
