For those that are lactose intolerant. Note that in ancient times, they use raw milk. So the people did not face this issue. I manage my lactose intolerance by occasionally taking yogurt or kefir.

Barley and Oats are completely different grains though they look similar. Sunnah is Barley but if you want to add oats, you can. It’s not necessary to put cardamom & bay leaves as per sunnah, it is just for taste.
