It is obvious that the Genesis part in the Bible written by the Jews 600BC has been extracted from the Egyptian and Babylonian symbols, myths and histories. Osiris became Adam, Isis became Eve and Seth became Cain who killed his brother Adam...They used other histories to create their own...You are doing a good work reviving your history which was prior to the Jewish one that used it and tried to erase your.

We are totally familiar with every detail of the myth/story. But actually this an adapted version for the kids (BTW, there is no complete version found yet). So, you could say this is my adapted script of the myth that I saw fit for the children mentality/sensibility. Besides what really matters in the story is the miraculous/magical intercourse between Isis and Osiris that begot their Son of God, Horus. And I believe we managed to depict/convey that magical interaction between the two God and his Goddess wife.

1- All those gods which biblical historians presented to us were actually kings and queens of one royal dynasty. The names of gods and goddess which they talked about were actually functional titles of kings and queens defining their responsibilities towards their people. There was no obelisk in the story, but you must mean the Djed Pillar. Well, that is employed in the story as the backbone of Osiris (very abstract theme). Since we made this short film for the kids, we had to make minor variations/adaptations that would appeal to the young and still be consistent with the myth. Hence, the tree - which looked almost like the Djed Pillar - was chosen as the main motif of Osiris in the film, especially that he was the God of Vegetation and fruitfulness.
