yes, oh my gosh thank you for riding that cr 500 the best bike ever! i have a blast on my dads but the thing is im 13 and i ride a cr250 aluminum frame 2001 honda and it gives me that same rush feeling as the 500 and im very glad to see u riding it!!!!!!

I wish i had the money to do this. My first bike was a 1976 KE100 i bought when i was 14 for $200. It was stripped down for off-road only riding and it need some carb work but once i had it figured out and built up a little bit, i took it to the Badlands in Attica every chance i could. I will be turn 18 in November. And not a day goes by that i wish i had not have sold it last year to help pay for a truck that cant even drive.

I have a yz125 and only first gear is strong on it, the bike was just rebuilt top to bottom and after first gear it fells like a 50 with the gears haveing no power and just put a new cluch in it, how do i fix this

Sure do miss that 2 stroke sound. This past fall I was fortunate enough to watch motorcycle drag racing, this kid around my age had an old kawasaki triple, he was destorying people in the 1/4 mile. And that twing going down the strip all out followed by smoke was beautiful. Another thing I'd like to point out all the guys with decked out harleys would have to have a friend start the bike for them, they would carry a battery and starter on a handtruck and someone would start it for them. Not this triple though, dude had a friend that would hand him carb cleaner and she'd start right up.
