WOW, I loved what you did with crowning's beautiful work absolutely beautiful and the colour green not many are brave enough to go with the darker green but they're missing out because used correctly it is a stunning colour. I also loved the work on the cabinets. Far to many people throw away what is reusable it just needed some TLC. The only things in my home that are new are the mattresses on our beds which are changed every 10 years which is the guarantee and my quilts and pillows which are changed every year. I have winter bedding and summer bedding. One comes out the others are taken to the specialist cleaners along with all the winter curtains and then vacuumed packed and stored in an old fashioned ottoman at the end of the bed. I think a centre plaster rose would have been a good choice on the ceilings as well. My furniture every single piece has been bought second and third handed rugs that I have acquired then hung them outside on special lines and with rug beaters we snack the hell out of them then I clean them and the difference is wonderful. All my electricals I have had since my first home, I paid the warranty so if anything happened it was covered I then have a company that is booked in yearly to maintain them and they still work perfectly. I have open fires so chimney sweep in place yearly also. I spring clean and autumn clean one brings in the warmer bedding the coats are unpacked the winter curtains replace the spring and summer ones. It's a ritual so because I have done it every year for 25+ years it doesn't take me long. I love watching other countries and how they do their renovations and some of them are phenomenal. Love the arch in the doorway and the molding on the walls and the floors look great. Don't like the fake tuff in that garden and the greens were not my favorite especially the dark bright green. Not keen on the lace curtains being tied back. I think just the simple lace hanging would have been enough. But overall very well done.
