The gentleman with the flame thrower is the kind of guy I love with his relaxed, cigarette in mouth, whilst operating the flame thrower, you could imagine him about to light his cigarette with it. Your Italian is amazing and the crew are amazing. We have all become attached to those men and I wonder if they know how much we have appreciated their skill on their work they are truly artisans in their field. I love how as they are carrying the last beams up and I think they are saying 'why Brady, why' ha ha. Their humour and yours throughout has made your days and ours. Did you all throw a party when those last beams for the doorways were put in Brady, I bet you are all glad that was the last one. They are stunning. Now to give Heather an applause on her work behind scenes of editing, Heather you are not forgotten in this process. All the hours of editing, work and keeping the home ticking is what makes it easier for Brady so he can concentrate on the build. Have a lovely day to the crew, Brady and Heather.

All the workmen are great - competent and full of character. The tar paper laying expert is today’s tradesperson highlight - the propane leaf blower, the cigarette, and then exiting the work area holding a bottle of wine 12:10. Nice.

Sunday on Friday??? Great! Call the beams “3 MAN BEAMS”! The men are more than stone masons, that are artisans! They are old school! The BEST! To see you work right along side them speaks volumes of who you are and how far you have come in this restoration. You have life long skills that can only be achieved by hands on, get in the middle of it and participate! This is better than any movie one could watch….hell I’ve learned all kinds of things especially how these wonderful building were build along time ago and how they are still build, not like here in the U.S. with our OSB walls and pro panel roofs! Because you have shared with us, I have fallen in love with Italy! I also watch Martijn Dollard and love his channel also! Thank you so much and we will not get tried of watching each step. Remember, if you are going to put down another water proof membrane, don’t forget to have the lighted cigarette in your mouth! Ha Ha! Love till n next time.

Che meraviglia! È così stressante trasportare gli architravi su per le scale e posizionarli sopra le porte. Great great video - to look back at in the years to come. You can see the stress on your face as you man handle those beams and having to cope with a language that you are still coming to grips with. I am so impressed with your grit and determination. Just amazing!! Oh and the Italian workers - haha. I grew up in a small country town in Australia where about 50% of it's population were Italian immigrants. I loved everyone of them. Such a rich and old culture and yes many unique ways of doing things , and yes propane is very flammable. Oh dear loved it.
