I have a sexually abused dog in my rescue. And......as a permanent member of my pack and home. When I got the call and heard her story with no hair, starving, badly infected ears, and the sexual abuse......I know her stay with me was her furever home. She’s amazing. Possibly needs hip surgery due to the abuse. I’m trying to raise the money. But my heart is broken every day by rescue stories. I want to save them all. Don't ask why the dog is in tune with the music, ask why the music is in tune with the dog. Don't ask why the card I show you is your card, ask why the card I'm showing you is the card you picked. She learned the pattern of her dog's howl and created music to match it. There. No more dogs understanding the concept of music. No more miracle. My prop deck has very hard to spot anomalies in pattern on the back of the cards, and they tell me which card you took. Wendy has a contraption in her mouth that is controlled by her owner. If you watch closely you can see the mouth is plastic and the owner is singing (shows on his lips from time to time). It's really quite stressful for the dog, you can see it in her eyes.

Oscar was the winner. I remember watching his audition live, my jaw dropped and my eyes shot wide open when he suddenly tuned his howl to become on key with music. If you know anything about dogs, you know how AMAZING this is! True fact: some people can't sing on key to save their lives if they needed, and a dog was capable of doing just that!

Actually this doesn’t amaze me. I spent years teaching Saxophone and Clarinet at peoples’ homes, and of those that owned dogs, I estimate 70% of the dogs would come and sing along. They really enjoy it, and each dog has their own voice. They also improve with practice. The higher notes especially get them going. My childhood pet dog used to along to harmonica and also the ice cream van. I think it’s an instinctive response, like wolves howling in packs. They are singing collectively. If you own a dog, try playing a harmonica, clarinet or saxophone, and see if they join in. ( PS, most cats however, would leave the room).

And your comment was saying like mainly all dogs live up to 25+ I’m just saying that they usually get up to around 12 years before they go. 25+ is rare. They have to be pretty healthy

The white dog singing to Whitney was TOP DOG but buddy singing Reqium was so sweet singing with Mum 💞 and the ventriloquist was a brilliantly entertaining act. Stayed to the end and loved the country duo ( great singer ) and seeing Simon with his dog Squiggly❣️
