So let's be honest, most of them where... uhm... questionable. And this for only a reason, they tried to copy. If you copy, you will never be as good as the original. Jennifer and Joel were the only really good, because they added their own bit, they put their interpretation of the song, their variations, and they make it different and interesting, not just a lower level copy.

The reason why so many of these aren’t very good and the video of ‘incredible’ covers is only 17 minutes long is because of how hard Domiano’s voice is to replicate. It’s one of a kind. That’s why the people who did their own voices and didn’t copy his were so amazing! It’s like drawing, you copy a drawing and it’s not yours and you’ll never learn how to truly draw. You have to do it yourself and add your own style!

Måneskin songs aren’t lyrically very interesting or dynamic, but damiano’s voice really sells it. It’s hard for people to do a straight cover IMO. Most of the singers sound like they are doing karaoke to me. The last duet was the best. They put their own personality into it. Don’t get me wrong I like Måneskin, that’s why I think anyone trying to cover them has a huge challenge not to be swallowed by the originals sound. The backing music is always amazing. As musicians they rock

As a proffessional singer and a big måneskin fan, first three performances presented in this video are not good. They are correct, but juat not good. There isn't much emotions, sometimes singers weren't hitting the exact correct notes and I was able to hear it really well. The fourth and fifth were definitely better. They had some emotion and they're own interesting vibe. Sixth was my absolutely favourite, the only one where I actually fell in love with a performance! It was a completely different and VERY interesting interpratation of a song. I loved all the emotions, the moves, all the vibratos and hoarseness. The duo of a female with a very strong voice and male who was able to hit such high notes was unusual and interesting thing to see. They truely made me astonished! And of course the last clip is måneskin. Damiano David definitely is a great singer. He has a very unique voice timbre which is impossible to replicate, but of course singing is not about replicating. It is about interpreting and understanding the song in your own unique way (the sixth performance definitely nailed that in my opinion)
