So let's be honest, most of them where... uhm... questionable. And this for only a reason, they tried to copy. If you copy, you will never be as good as the original. Jennifer and Joel were the only really good, because they added their own bit, they put their interpretation of the song, their variations, and they make it different and interesting, not just a lower level copy.

that's what I love about the battles here in The Voice of Germany The coaches actively train them to do these battle songs in a completely different style, suited to their styles of overall singing Blind Auditions are always hit or miss depending on how hard they try to basically copy the original or try to put their own spin on it but with the songs during the battles it's a completely different thing
