Jamey, I absolutely love these videos! They are truly amazing to watch and very insightful The only thing “missing” (if there is anything at all) would be talking about how the gameplay changed as well. Like for Red Rising, I loved hearing that you considered worker placement, etc Keep this up :)

Thanks Brennan! I'll try to talk about that a bit in these videos, but most of that already exists in the design diary: stonemaiergames.com/games/my-little-scythe/design-diary/

I love this game; that is was designed by a father/daughter, and that you pursued it to be published. I can't imagine all the nuanced decisions that go into making a game. I have some mild deuteranopia so I did end up using paint to darken one of the colors of the dice faces.

As always, very interesting look into production. I personally really like My Little Scythe as a solo game, so it is even more I rereading to hear about a game I play quite a bit.

This is a fascinating series, thanks for sharing! How does the GameTrayz element work? Do Panda manufacture that as well or is it made elsewhere and then taken to the factory for assembly?

Noah at Game Trayz designs the insert (3D modeling, and Panda creates a mould and manufacturers it.
