Tales from the Tubs has been a great new addition. I watch all your videos even though I dont collect action figures, believe it or not, I am just an old Marvel fan of a similar generation. Seeing the old versions of the figures that have ended up in the tub is really interesting, seeing what they prioritised at the time to make an appealing figure and also hearing why you have gone for hte one you currently have versus the one that is in the tub and the plus points of some old gems that have been stuck in there. If the episodes are easy to produce, and I guess they dont need as much prep as some of the other videos, I would definitely say keep it going!

Back before Neca really started articulating their figures, I picked up the clear variant of that Super Skrull to donate his joints to a stealth Predator. Tore them both to pieces, put them in a loose clear blister for safe keeping & into a tub... Where they sit to this day...

I’m really loving this series! Can’t wait to see more. And a part of me kinda likes that Namor, mainly cause he’s VERY 40’s, so he’d go really nice with some Invaders, but other than that, he’s definitely not that good.

These have been such a great trip down memory lane for me. I fell off the Marvel Legends train sometime before Hasbro and am now very selective. But a lot of those Toybiz Legends you’re finding were absolutely in my collection back in the day! I remember those Wolverine variants came from a separately carded X-Men line that (I think) was pretty short-lived? Good times. I miss sub-$10 6in figures.

That Scorpion is the only spiderman classic I have and love it. For me, bigger and better than the Hasbro. I still love finger and toe articulation when it's handled well. I still struggle with Iron Fist with no finger articulation. Bill is another Toybiz I just love. Hasbro has their work cut out for them to replace that on my shelf with those flaring lats and glorious hinged jaw. Something even the new marvel select lacks. I'd love the Thor Buster armor to get a redo. Conan has better sculpt on it than a lot of modern figures. Crazy how well it's held up. Or maybe I'm just old. Same goes for Super Skrull. I really want that one.

5:31 the paint does look nice on thorbuster though, I got one recently and just got the series 1 iron man horned variant with the base for under $20 used and the stealth version for under $15 used just by itself (both with the respective masks). I’m slowly getting a huge marvel legends iron man collection (toy biz and hasbro) gotten a lot of the iron man 1 movie figures still in the packaging. Hoping to make a huge hall of armor diorama similar to how I tried to make one back in 2011 (I was like 13) when I glued some styrofoam to make it and painted it in dark gray and silver (got rid of it after some time due to realizing that I’m not gonna have a chance to fill it with iron man figures and needed space, plus I think it started to fall apart.

Didn't know x23 had controversy on the forums! She was the one who was hardest for me in my area to find. She was the final piece to my Apocalypse BAF and got the variant without knowing there was a difference, along with the wolverine lol

Oh yeah, people mad as hell that she was getting made because she was too new to be considered a "Legend" and that it was taking the spot of someone more deserving. So.....same arguments as we still see these days, haha. X-23 Not A Legend and Storm's Costume Color are classics.
