As a PK, thank you for this Bea and Nica! Working on how to navigate adulthood now without shaming myself. :)))

As a PK, I would say that the Word of God says it all. Obedience to God out of your love for Him matters so much 🤍☺️

I love this ep! So grateful also that the church is evolving and conversations between parents and children nowadays are becoming two-way conversations instead of adults imposing their will on the children. Kudos to your parents for the way they raised you. You’re a testament of them as parents ❤️

As a PK, a lot of what were discussed are very relatable (like arguing with CLE teachers or wearing conservative clothes. haha!). I always say that only PKs can only understand the unique experiences and stories of other PKs. It took me years to appreciate my background and the "privileges" of being a pastor's kid. Thank you for putting this out. Though each pastor's kid have different experiences and rearing, you have represented the challenges and pressures we face(d). :) God bless you both! (BTW, I enjoy your dance tutorials/videos a lot!)

Also a PK here and I also was traumatized since childhood. This is just a refreshing episode and made me realize that I am not alone in my struggles. It was only by God's grace that I survived the bullying, gossip nd etc. Thank you for sharing this and hope you'll have episodes like this with the rest of your sibs. 😊

Thank you for this episode. I was really looking forward to this when you mentioned previously that you're gonna discuss about being PKs. Thank you for sharing your lives, but tbh, I think there's still so much that have not been talked about. I was thirsting for more. Haha! But I understand. As a PK myself, I wouldn't be 100% comfortable putting my life stories out there, especially on this platform where anyone can just jump in and make conclusions. Even if our intention is to testify about the goodness of the Lord in our lives. I took the prodigal son route, and I've known a lot of PKs who did as well. I was very careful to keep it a secret because I had an image to maintain at church as a PK. I knew people were watching, and other kids looked up to me. There was always an unspoken pressure to be a certain way to avoid disappointing those at church or my parents, but inside, I was filled with rebellion. I felt the unfairness of not having the freedom to make mistakes like the other kids at church. To be fair, my parents didn't put that pressure on me but I was aware of the order of things. Anyways, there's so much to talk about! 😅

Not a PK but I was raised in a legalistic christian household and I didn’t realize my exp was similar to that of a PK. There were a lot of condemnations from church people and from family also, and the judgment was so bad because I didn’t act a certain way or I made choices that ruined my testimony, as some people would put it. Despite my parents shortcomings and all the trauma, I’m still grateful that God placed me in this family because I probably would’ve turned out worse otherwise 😂 but more than that, I’m grateful to have been introduced to God at a young age because no matter the circumstances, I always have a God to turn back to.

I’m a Catholic but has a pastor uncle and ofc his wife is also active in church. Our families both respects our religion pero they are really strict with what we wear talaga hahahaha My sisters and I are all adults na but until now they are still strict likeeeee if we have beach trips, bawal swimsuit ganon 😭🥲 so now if we have our own beach trip na di sila kasama, we hide na our IG stories to them para tahimik nalang hahahahaha

But isn't Christ the standard and not us or our neighbors? And that us following Christ does not depend on someone else following Him also? Just curious 😊

The most judgmental people are from church, it doesn’t matter if its a Catholic or Christian . I am a catholic but went to a protestant school, i was traumatized because they bullied me at grade school since i have a different religion thats why in high school i decided to change institution and went to exclusive school instead.

But living up to Christ's standards is also an individual pursuit. Us doing what is right does not depend on someone else doing right also. I just want to learn also from other people's views especially one from your side of the fence, being exposed to the teachings at an early age
