hahaha i'm a complete noob using mages in tales games, in fact i've never used mages or anything remotely that uses casting except for ninjas in tales of the world. but magilou made me want to learn how to do a proper cast canceling.

Please Read: You need to level up in the shop and get wizards ventite, Then you do a spell, hold down the spell button while casting and press L2 or the mystic arte button to spell cast fast to another higher arte

It's Shrike Dive, the last hidden arte she learns, lvl 39. It allows you to directly jump on your target and it's one of the best mouvement option of the game.

Naa, I'm just using the spell enhance, where I build up to a higher level spell by pressing L2. So basically I cast a level 1 spell and then build up to it's level 2 or 3 version by spell enhancing when needed, which helps save spots on assigning artes instead of assigning all 9 spells individually.

Nope it's existed in tales games before. Cast a tier 1 spell, and hold the spell, and press a button to upgrade the spell cast to a tier 2 spell. For instance you can cast something like splash, but then choose to upgrade it to Absolute Zero instead of casting splash. It's in Zesteria and I believe some other games as well.

+Swillo & BimmyQuestion it started with a skill pascal learned in Graces, but hers was completely useless because it took longer to cast that way. I feel like that was a programming error (you have to get a red charge instead of just blue like you should), but it doesn't really matter either way. It's a great idea and I love that they added it in.

Just watch any playthrough. Although she still had clothing on, so she didn't show him her bits. She's not naked under the book and has shorts on, and there's no hole there or something. Still innappropriate, but yeah.

i loved this game. i just didn't have the heart to finish it. i should make that effort. i love the dioluge. though i can't remember why i made such a comment. i think there was a side diologue that mag made that gave me the idea of showing her crotch or something..

I don't use the title or anything besides the standard chain bonus. Maybe it's just because I'm chaining so many actions that I'm always at the chain cap speed increase.

spell absorber does what it says, absorb spells. so to cast the break soul spell you need to use her break soul while an enemy is casting and it will charge the little bar right next to her portrait and hp and when that bar is full it will immediately cast one of her break soul spells at random

so how does this spell chaining work? I cast a tier 1 spell by holding one of the skill button and press another button but it doesn't work. Magilou just releases her spell right away once I release the skill button. Could u briefly explain how make this spell chaining work? Thanks in advance

You first need the 'Wizard's Ventite' item by getting your Shop Level to 6.
