Dear Elliot, thank you so much for another amazing collection of tales. I've enjoyed it greatly. As always your narration is spot-on, and I love the added dramatisation with husky voices for ever so boisterous Knights of the Round Table. You are truly gifted and I am so pleased to come across your channel. All the best and looking forward to new additions :)

Ah thank you, Margaret. I had a great time working on these ones, as well as utilising some localised accents I don’t get to play with very often!

brilliant reading! thank you so much. so many tales i’ve never heard before. . . you really brought this legend to life :) 🌹🌱 as always occurs in legends, there are so many contradictions and differing stories. so since Arthur went off to Avalon in a ship, how can Guinevere be buried next to him? this version shows that the sword 🗡️ is pulled from the stone and that Excalibur came from the Lady of the Lake. so what happened to the first sword? i do hope they put it back into the rock or hung it up. on the castle wall as a prized possession. poor little sword :) ⚔️🧝🏼♀️🧚🏻🧚🏽
@classicaudiobookswithelliot Жыл бұрын
Thanks for listening! Yes, that’s true re some of the events. I believe the sword in the stone and Excalibur are two different swords! As for Arthur’s burial, I get the sense that his voyage to Avalon is rather more symbolic of a heavenly journey which is a nice thought 🗡

Oh him? Yeah, I know him. It’s going to take a while. It happened years ago. Did you know there are three kinds of knights? Those who seek strength, those who live for pride, and those who can read the tide of battle. Those are the three. And him?
