It honestly sounds angelic and heavenly… that got absolutely fucked in the worst possible way imaginable, sounds like a broken record with some parts looping, sounding like it’s screaming for help, even that horrible demented part on 0:25, everything sounds so freakin disoriented and harsh… yet somehow I absolutely love it. This has to be the most weirdest and definitely one of the most unsettling video game music I’ve listened too, never in my life would I guess this was from the Tales of Series. It’s sounds so full of chaos and dissonance. Absolutely horrifying to hear, especially without context.

According to the wiki the Cradle of Time is the place where all of existence begins and ends. As such it is made up of distorted rubble and garbage, possibly the withering remains of worlds about to be erased. As such it’s only fitting that the music that plays is a haunting and distorted mess of what once was Legendary Sorcerer. As if the dimension warps and distorts the very fabric of everything within it down to the music.
