I played Tales of Symphonia with a bunch of my friends over the course of several months. None of us knew the game or the plot, even though it was already about a decade old. I wound up playing Sheena all the time, and I'd do nothing but summon Corrine and throw him at the foe repeatedly, spending a lot of time to summon him and dealing very little damage. I'd never use any other move if I could help it. It started as being annoying, then it became an in-joke and a tradition, and eventually Corrine became everyone's favorite. We all bonded with the thing. We hated him and loved him. Corrine was the star of the show. And then... and then... ... :(
