I suck at this fight on Normal, so I always control Raine and spam Revitalize while everybody else melee attacks him, then I control Lloyd for a Unison Attack and switch back to Raine.

@@ShowtimeLaw Pretty late to answer but a cheesy way to beat him is to spam Collette's Toss Hammer attack. One of those hammers are green and end up poisoning him. After that just wait it out.

I still can't believe how broken Symphonia photon is, dat penetrate bypass is too good. I can't help but get a bit nostalgic at the classic tried and true Tales "1 front liner, 3 casters" formation, it never gets old. Once again busting out a NIND like a piece of cake. Baba's gonna nerf you personally if you keep this up.

How do you chain the skill with Kratos ? There's a delay between the time you start the spell and the time you can cancel it. However, maybe this is a difference between the french version and yours

Nice video, but how are you able to auto spell cancel? Currently i am trying to do it but i can't. Do i need an item or to be in a higher level?

The spell you are using to spell cancel has to be at 999 uses. Otherwise there is a few frames at the start of the casting where you can't use the guard button to cancel it (this only applies to the PS2/3 version of the game, GC version you can spell cancel like this without the need of usage). Other than that, you just have to be fast enough to cancel and attack right away after that.

Abyssion start the fight with and especial attack and still loses without even break the sweat, man and that second unison attack wasnt necessary.

can someone tell me how cast-cancel fast? I tried to do it on the chronicles but it was too slow.On the gamecube version, you just do AAA cast and block really fast

you mean spell cancel ? on Chronicles (PS2 version) you need to max out the spell of your choice. On the battle you can see he cancels S.Lightning Blade with stone blast, so in order to spell cancel you need a novice spell to cancel a Level 2-3 technique.

I freaking hate this boss, even on the easiest difficulty. When I played the GameCube Version as a kid I had to play through the game enough until I got the 10xExp boost...Even then I needed nearly all my Life Bottles and won with only Zelos left.

cancel an animation with by beginning to cast a spell and then cancel that by guarding, then you can immediately attack again. They changed it in this version by making you first master the spell (999 uses) before you can spell cancel with it.

omegaevolution Oooh, so that's how it is. So they took out his immunity for his Hi-Ougis. It's a bit curious I'd say, but it makes sense kind of, even though I think the Unison immunity is way more threatening than the Hi-Ougis lol.

***** Well you have to take in mind most players don't really know when he is gonna do the Hi-ougis or how to dodge them xD. But yeah lol, the meteors would be a pain in the ass in mania with unison immunity (specially cause the all-divide immunity applies to all modes I believe).
