Tales of Symphonia - Proxy Casting Bug (Feat. Regal the log)

GameCube exclusive glitch.
How to do it:
1. Set a tech of the controlled character to a C-shortcut.
2. Attack (using A or any tech other than the C-shortcut you just set).
3. Use the C-stick to buffer the C-shortcut input.
4. Quickly open the menu and change the C-shortcut to any tech of another character.
5. You character will link their attack to the other character's tech.
There are certain combinations that will make the character freeze or crash the game. Big thanks to Hyacia for making this list containing most of them:

Holy shit I remember doing this by accident with Lloyd casting Grave as a kid and I had no idea how to reproduce this. Literally no one in my family ever believed me when I said I managed to make Lloyd cast grave somehow. This video is basically my decade long payoff LOL.

Kratos and Regal using Sword rain looks tight, but hilariously broken. The rectangular prism Regal turns into at end had me dying. Also, these videos make me want to play this game.

So Lloyd and Presea have a spell dialogue when they're about to cast spells, ("Take this" , "Ha") but they never get used in normal gameplay, since they don't have any spells.

If I recall making characters like Lloyd and Kratos use pow hammer also damages their models somewhat (though not nearly to the level of regal the log oh my gosh)
