Tales of Symphonia - The End of a Thought (Tales of Destiny 2 Premium Soundtrack DVD)

The End of a Thought remix off the Tales of Destiny 2 Premium DVD (The Peach Gumi disk). It's a great remix of an awesome song where Lloyd fights Kratos for the last time in Tales of Symphonia. I like the original more, but Motoi did a decent job on this.
I do not own Tales of Symphonia, I am not Motoi Sakuraba, I do not own Tales of Destiny 2, I don't own Namco, and I do not own Nintendo. This video is purely for promoting this awesome game (I really wish we could see a prequel to ToS, but that probably won't be happening anytime soon. :( ).
I can upload the rest of the songs off the disc if anyone asks.

What a neat remix! It always interesting to hear how other musicians interpret a song, but hearing the original composer revisit their own tracks is quite a treat! I imagine Motoi Sakuraba returning for Star Ocean Second Departure R is a similar situation, or how Nobuo Uematsu returned to FF7's music for Advent Children (and then FF7R).

Call me crazy, but I'm actually more interested in a ToS prequel where Spiritua is the protagonist than a Kharlan War prequel, though I'd truly love to see both. We get to see all the Grand Cardinals in their early days, most prominently, Forcystus the Desian Hero in all his glory. Maybe I just have a thing for Forcystus, but it sounds pretty cool to me.

Terrace Luster Considering we also get to see what Pronyma is like before usurping Kvar for the Angelus Project, before she became brutally cruel on every level. Before she got brutally, and savagely murdered by Mithos. Rodyle, before he got Thor's Hammer the Mana Cannon Namco can pull it off.

This actually sounds like a really cool idea. I would love to learn more about Spiritua and get a definitive answer on whether Sylvarant Spiritua and Tethe-Alla Spiritua were the same person, and what the truth was behind that. There are a lot of cool characters that could be implemented in that story. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt we're ever getting a Tales of Symphonia prequel, and if we do, I would rather have it be about the Kharlan War, mainly because Mithos is my favorite character in any videogame ever. That would be amazing if we got either, though. Tales of Symphonia is my favorite game of all time.

Yeah, like every JRPG the sequel takes places [enter a digit]000 years after his prequel, but still they're sword fighting and using candles to light their houses. If it wasn't for the mana, JRPG characters would still be stuck at stone age :D

@@subsystemd What do you mean? The Grand Tethe'alla Bridge is a highly advanced structure that runs off of mana from exspheres, and the Rheiards also exist. The reason they use mana a lot in Tethe'alla is because it's plentiful, as that's the world that's in prosperity. Why would they rely on something like AC current flowing energy when they literally have mana coming out of the planet? Especially considering mana just integrates into any technology, you don't need to modify structures to make it work.

@@subsystemd That's why the Desians are around in Sylvarant; so that it's forced to be in decline, to facilitate the Journey of Regeneration. They snuff out any attempts to create prosperity without the Journey of Regeneration, because that goes at odds with Mithos' plan of forming a vessel for Martel.
