Brilliant choice of music, it's very fitting considering Sword Dancer keeps coming back for more, just like Gilgamesh. And another awesome win for Guy the Super Sentai Cecilhog. :D A few close calls here and there. I take it the Mystic Arte's invincibility saved your butt there. You looked terribly close to landing on his Fang wave too. :0

SD didn't want to stay in Digital Limbo forever :p Yeah, that MA invincibility is really useful, saves you from those Cheap OVL burst after the MA is done hahaha. Thanks man!

omegaevolution Apparently not. I like him better as a party member anyway. XP Very nice. I don't remember having had quite that level of luck with using it to endure the OVL blast from bosses. They always send me flying after I finish my Mystic Arte. You're welcome. :D

we're getting Vesperia, hopefully we get remasters of every tales game we deserve that japan has kept for themselves in some way. We're getting the complete Vesperia version that wasnt released outside of japan on Ps3.... that was such a stupid idea they came up with lol we were stuck with some vanilla version on the 360 while japan had both versions respectively...

In Abyss you can hear the OVL sfx for enemies and avoid them properly. That's how JPN folks use to seem like they knew when an enemy would OVL. I confirmed it some years later, but it's been a charm since. The only issue is keeping an awareness to your combos. Little late, but knowledge be knowledge.

Nothing wrong with more knowledge :p I knew about the SFX (in fact, thats what I have been using for the other bosses to avoid the OVL so far), but the Sword Dancer is a special case cause he will go OVL right as the SFX play even mid-combo, so kinda hard to react to that, so as you said, gotta be aware of your combos.

Nice fight and very fitting choice of music! I always called the later versions of Sword Dancer "Gilgamesh", but the one in Symphonia reminds me more of Cortez in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. =P

Geez that OVL burst nearly got you. Seems like Fang can shut down a run really easily here. Awesome fight, was at the edge of my seat the whole time!

Yeah Fang is... kind of annoying, specially when SD gets into this "I gotta spam it" mode, since its hard to really punish it. I gotta thank Namco for actually being really smart and give Guy invincibility frames after his MA, saves you from some of those cheap hits since you are like right next to the boss when its done lol Thanks man!
