Barriss was more of a dark Jedi turned true Jedi after she escaped. She never believed in the Empire’s cause nor wanted to just cause death and destruction for the sake of it. And most of all she felt remorse unlike most darksiders

ScreenCrush tends to prioritise releasing its videos quickly rather than making them better. I’ve also noticed that a lot of the details/“things you missed” they include tend to be stretches to pad out the run time. Still worth a watch, but imo not as good as New Rockstars or Heavy Spoilers, which do similar videos on similar shows/movies

For some strange reason multiple youtubers state that Darth Sidius ordered the masacare of Night Sisters, but in yf you watched the clone wars then you know that desision was Dooku`s, because he wantet revenge for assasination attempt on him.

The ending with Bariss in the cave when Lyn turns back to the light was just soo good. The cave turns blue, the shot cuts to the animal outside in the sunlight, and then Lyn realizes the way out, she sees the way of life. This series was like an essay by Dave Faloni about how the Light and Dark sides of the force are actually the forces of Life and Death, which are both kind of amoral themselves but can be wielded for evil and oppression when used out of balance.

This is what Disney need to do, these awesome short (but get to the point) action plots that ties the story together with the movies and shows. Especially the many characters we do not get to see but only one shot (i.e. Clone Wars Movie). I hope the next one they do is Sifo-Dyas and where he went after going to the underground path and maybe going to the Chiss planet and finding out they will be the next big bad group alongside GA Thrawn.

I loved the portrayal of the droids and General Grievous at the beginning. It really showed that when an army of battle droids and a brilliant military strategist/powerful cyborg are not facing child-like super soldiers (clones) and force-wielding wizards (Jedi) they are terrifying and completely unstoppable in combat.

The “tryout circle” for Barriss is very similar to Ashoka’s training circle at the Jedi temple in TOTJ ep5. Also Barriss might be alive because when she was being carried, her head was resting on Lyn’s shoulder and usually when characters are dead, their head is just dangling off of their arm to lifelessness instead of helplessness.

Personally I think after this we're gonna get a "Tales of the Rebellion" miniseries. Just because it follows the theme of both "... Jedi" and now "... Empire" That or the next series is gonna be named "Tales of Hope" to keep with the second theme which is "Reverse naming convention of the Original Trilogy"

I think i liked tales of the jedi more. I was not really that intrested in Morgans Backstory and for me it felt a bit stretched for seeing not much from her life after all. I was wondering how she actually got Magistrate of that Village but its just a timejump after the 1st episode and now she is magistrate and also had the Idea for the Tie-Defender?? felt a bit random i mean i never got that she is big into spaceships overall. Barriss redemption arc was a bit underwhelming. If they spoil a connection with Ashoka after Order 66 how about showing it and not just mentioning it at one point?

Didnt she personally design the Eye of Sion that reaches Thrawn on Peridea? Idk, thats a pretty strong indication she knows a lot about starships and space travel. I dont think Morgan should've been the mastermind of the Tie Defenders dont get me wrong, that should have been Thrawns design, but its not like it came completely out of left field.

The nature of the ending seems clear that we have a cliffhanger regarding Bariss’ fate. I don’t think it’s obvious she died. Same wound in “Kenobi” didn’t do the trick.
