I mean, the budgeting for those films and even the live action series, which I honestly have mixed feelings about, were substantially higher than Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, etc. It's just crazy how much of a missed opportunity they had with the films and live action series that are being made up for with an animates series lol.

That could be an interesting story, and it would make sense, they not only attended the same youngling classes right after Anakin arrived at the temple, but they also fought together during several missions during the clone wars, and he was the one to defeat her. But I don't think Disney is about to do it again.

They needed old Ahsoka, after very difficult life, voice of teenage clone wars ahsoka (I knew she voiced adult Ahsoka in rebels too) wouldn't fit, I think they made good cast, I didn't like only sabine. Ahsoka was written and produced by Filoni himself, legend that gave us Ahsoka in the first place, and he knew what he's doing.

I will take Ashoka over Andor any day. Andor was filthy mouth rubbish not consistent with George Lucas vision. Also so many stuff in that show not consistent with Star Wars tone it should be wiped from canon. Also retcon Andor story about being in this fight since he was 7 years bro when I heard that in rogue one I thought he was fighting storm troopers in the trenches with a militia but nah he got looked after by a rich adoptive mom 😂

One of my favorite games is TIE fighter, and one the most interesting things throughout that is that the Empire is universally portrayed as the good guys in the game. It would be interesting to see a star wars series do that and try to portray how some people could actually work for the empire and not think they were evil. The portrayal in most shows has almost universally been people either cacklingly evil, maliciously agnostic, or turning a blind eye for "the greater good". I am interested to see how they play this, though with the characters they have chosen I suspect this is not the show for it.

I mean, it's kind of obvious that the empire is a authoritarian regime, when Lucas first created the OT they were basically akin to Nazis in a way. However, your idea is that some average solider or person working for the empire may not necessarily see it that way. In the universe they see humans as superior to aliens, which was the belief of the Sith empire as well. It could be they just want to maintain the status quo or have peace in the galaxy instead of having roving bands of pirates, Hutt cartels controlling worlds and the rebel alliance committing acts of terrorism throughout the galaxy.

Seemed pretty self-explanatory and this trailer doesn’t make it seem like it’ll add anything new to the conversation (except maybe where that beskar spear came from). However, I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Barriss. It’ll be nice to finally get some answers about what happened to her.

You couldn't have made an original villain for this series?". And as I mentioned, I found her story too underdeveloped.
