I remember reading that bit in the book and thought it was stupid for a number of reasons. If the Hunger Games were actually real, this wouldn't happen. I think the mines would have some kind of weight threshold to avoid unnecessary accidents. The whole purpose is entertainment and they go to great lengths to 'put on a good show.' Someone dying due to an honest mistake before the games even begin whilst deafening other tributes is the complete opposite of entertainment.

Hehe, I know this is a joke, but since I have autism, I thought it'd be fun to make this an education moment, and pop in and let you know that we're not afraid of noise. We have difficulty with sensory processing, which means our brains cannot filter out sensory input (light, noise, touch, etc.) that would be overwhelming for anybody if they couldn't filter it out. We kind of "see" and "hear" everything at once, which can be really irritating and upsetting, especially if there is a LOT of sensory input. So, for example, if I was in a disco with flashing lights, loud music and people bumping into me. I'm not FRIGHTENED by all the noise and lights, it just becomes so overwhelming that it feels extremely uncomfortable. Every autistic person is different, and some are only overwhelmed by sounds but not lights, some might like loud sounds but hate bright lights, etc. Hope that makes sense! If you have questions, let me know. :)

I’d say it’s much more likely that Cashmere was forced to participate by snow as a way to punish Gloss for some form of act or behaviour, knowing how close she and Gloss were, and how much the people loved Gloss he couldn’t punish him directly, so sending Cashmere into the arena was the best form of punishment.

Maurice Chibert lol i doubt that actually, since it wouldn’t be that weird for cashmere to want to volunteer the next year after her own brother was crowned a victor.....we have to remember that career districts train for these games and for them it’s considered an honor to represent your district in the hungergames, so i just think she was chosen for the simple fact that district 1 had a chance of having adjacent victories plus being the younger sister of the victor that won the previous games would bring her a lot of sponsors.

Each story is getting longer and longer. The first stories were maybe 4 minutes each, and it soon jumped to 9 and 10, and now it's 3 games spread out a total of an hour of screen time, or an average of 20 minutes per game.

Gloss is an interesting character to me because Katniss starts out with the motive of "I volunteered as tribute so I wouldn't have to see my sister go to the Hunger Games" and with Gloss it's "I volunteered as tribute and as a DIRECT result I had to see my sister go to the Hunger Games."

When I was reading the series for the first time, I remember wishing that after the first book, the other two would have different protagonists and would involve other hunger games. The second book was interesting enough, but I really wish the third one would have had more of a 'games' aspect to it.

And I still wasn't all that hyped about Snow's POV or his character ark throughout the book. Probably cause I like positive arcs and he was just descending. I know he had to, cause, prequel, but still. Just wasn't the plot for me, I suppose. My friend REALLY likes it, though.

From what I've heard, if they hit in you in certain places and the arrows aren't too sharp, you don't notice as much and you can still move without being in too much pain. I'm no expert though!

I think would be funny if Snow's granddaugther joined, won and becomes some "revolution" object for the Reclamation of 88 just like Katniss were during the Mockingjay. Or she can also become some marthyr too. Also, I'm rotting for Finnick Jr. Maybe people would feel nostalgic because of his father and help him to win. I'm worried about Peeta and Katniss because of this Reclamation. They have lots of Ptsd and 'll have to deal with this all over again, probably they'll die and Will not have their children :(

You still have to fit in the games where every weapon was a mace, the one when basically everyone froze to death and the one with Titus from district 6 who was a cannibal and got killed by the capitol (I personally believe this year included Johanna). It's incredible how much detail and background is in each of the arenas and Games! Your videos are really interesting and amazing, and I'm sure many others would agree. I can't imagine how you can come up with such awesome ideas, and you should definitely continue these videos past the 75th Games. Honestly this series is what I look forward to each week. I love it so much, I'm always anticipating the next one. Also WLW means 'women loving women', like MLM can mean 'men loving men'. I have an idea for the 100th games, if that's planned. Every month there will be a game. One district at the time, so the first game will be 24 children from district 12. The second 24 chilfren from 11. Etc. I don't know if this is weirdly described, but if so; sorry, I'm not english😅 I love these videos! I'm looking forward to the next one! :)

My brother has Autism and I was really surprised and enjoyed hearing that the last tribute having Autism. I never really thought of what people with other disabilities would do in the games. Maybe in future videos more tributes will have different disabilities? what would happened if a deaf tribute would do in the games? Or one who can’t speak?

As someone who has sensory difficulties I can tell you it would definitely put me at a disadvantage in the games. And think about it, if blind and deaf children could not be reaped, people would intentionally mutilate their children to save them from the games.

I really love these and look forwards to these every week! But just wanted to say something about this video. I noticed some inconsistencies with the deaths or number of tributes remaining in some of these. Like I can’t recall everything word for word, but sometimes you’ll say something like “with 10 tributes remaining”, which obviously tells us there’s 10 tributes left. But with that specific number I’ll usually count down whenever you mention a death...and it usually doesn’t add up. Like an example was in Finnick’s games (65th). The part before Finnick and Adella get their sponsor gifts you mention there were 13 tributes remaining. They then proceeded to kill Lucelle, Feller, Groucho, and Dolora with their traps and trident. Which brings the number of tributes to 9. It then mentions them hearing a cannon before they get to the careers which would mean 8 tributes left. They then proceed to kill Glistena which brought the number down to 7. But then Adella mentions besides the four of them, there are four other tributes alive which would mean 8 tributes. So at this point Finnick, Adella, Elaeis, Tiberius, Boost, Charg, Knitta, and Jordan are all alive. I think something similar happens in the 66th games as well. It’s not really a problem it’s just something I’m catching as I watch these videos and read the text. Bur seriously these videos are my highlight of each week and I can’t wait to see what you do next!!!! Keep up the good work! Love these!

Andrew Allred omg i thought i was just being slow or not counting right, bc he said “with 10 tributes remaining” and then he mentioned that ember was killed by nucleo ( which means there are 9 tributes remaining) and the following day boris kills the district 5 female ( which means there are 8 tributes left) however after two days he said that there were only 7 tributes left which doesn’t add up.
