I majorly miss the EU, but channels like this help keep it remembered if not alive.

My only complaint. By now, so much media has been seen with the proper pronunciation. There is no excuse for this. Every time I hear that pronunciation, I cringe. Otherwise, a wonderful adaption.. thank you. But that mistake is loud. Too much so.

@@teddibearsworld This was before the Prequels dude. The word was only in books in the 90s. Hell the Republic capital planet was originally going to be called Had Abbadon. It isn't a mistake in these audio dramas because it didn't have an official pronunciation yet.

Somehow it felt better decade ago in comic form. Is it a jedi way to trick your apprentice and force her to butcher bunch of goons?

I’m fairly new to SW, although I was 7 when ANH was released. Was never into comics, but I’m starved for stories; stumbling on audio comics, after finding illustrated stories and the infinite videos, has REALLY provided hours and hours of enjoyment! I love the storyline of the Old Republic! And I really cannot watch anything so-called disney canon, or the disney theater films - so sad. But there’s so much from the SW past, it’s not a loss. I thought, after seeing Rogue One, the storyline would remain true, the stories and characters and acting would carry on properly and consistently, but alas, that wasn’t to be. After falling asleep 30min into Solo, and seeing how disney forced this DIE mind virus into infecting the story, and seeing how little regard disney has for the sanctity of the storyline and timeline, that first 30min of Solo was my last theater film I’ve watched. A lot of my ‘experience’ is based on reviews clips, and the better Lore channels, but the acting is garbage, the character development is terrible, and the writing is just atrocious. Disney has utterly ruined so much that used to be sooo good. Star Wars and the Marvel Universe is pretty much unwatchable, and I’m guessing they’re going to do the same for my favorite franchise, The Alien Universe. Hopefully they’ll go bankrupt and file houses that are genuinely fans of the stories will buy them back. At least I don’t have children, so I don’t have to fight that battle of having disney channels piped into my home - no way would I have their garbage in front of my kid; at least not until I ‘censored’ it. Anyhooooo, thnx for the audio comics :). I appreciate the massive amount of work that’s been done presenting them to us. You’re dedicated fans.

That was in Dark Empire. Splinter of the Mind's Eye was about the Kaiburr Crystal. Nomi and Vima's descendant, Vima-Da-Boda is the one who gave Leia her lightsaber during Dark Empire. That trilogy is a companion piece to the Tales of the Jedi comics. Tom Vietch wrote that story because Lucasfilm initially rejected his idea of writing about the Old Republic. George Lucas himself would later give him the thumbs up on the idea because he liked it. George liked reading the EU comics and even gave them out as free gifts to his employees.
