I'm really hoping people can rip the models they have before the shutdowns. There are a lot of characters who have never had full movesets or been seen in 3D before, so it's an important bit of Tales history.

I hate that I feel like Bamco is fully wanting kill the Tales franchise. This is one thing. It was bound to end considering how long it's been alive. But there was apparently also the thing where they removed the digital main games.

7 years is decent. It's been a good ride. At least an offline version will be made available.

I hope that everything Rays has to offer has been saved in some way, especially the PVs. Rays will always be in the same place as Opera Omnia and Record Keeper.

At the very least its getting an offline version with the ability to play parts of it. I do wish they would let you play story and event quests, All Out Tower, Recollection and Whis against CPU since those activities are all single player and could be theoretically reworked to be offline compatible. But being playable offline (not to mention lasting seven years) is a better outcome than what 99% of gachas get, as most just make the game completely unavailable or at best the offline version is basically just a gallery to look at your collection and nothing else. Plus someone can probably figure out a way to modify the game to give people who didn’t play save files with everything unlocked so in the future others can enjoy Rays. I don’t really have any expectations for future Tales mobages to do well. The market has gotten super competitive with full blown AAA like experiences available now, old fans are upset at how they handled Crestoria and Luminaria, new fans will be uninterested in pulling for most of the characters because they can’t play most of the games unless they emulate or dig up old consoles.

Hopefully since rays is shutting down maybe they can get more projects running. I love the mobile entries but honestly they never last in na so I rather they continue their consul titles.

Aww man... I had a feeling, i am not someone whos been uptodate with everything going on but the moment i saw that one mystic art combo of the two MCs I had a feeling xc it felt like the final goodbye so to say... I was pondering about maybe going in and attempting to play for a bit, rip

Good thing that I had speed run the whole game (including the Recollection saga) before this happens. All I can do now is add more characters and mirrage artes until the end of services so I can enjoy the offline version.

I’m really gonna miss having the game being part of my daily life. 7 years was a good life. Hopefully we get something just as good or better!

Sigh... Namco doesn't seem to have Mutsumi Inomata's feelings in mind. I'm disgusted by what Namco is doing now, so I won't buy any more Namco products, and I'll play games that replace Namco games and games that have a bad relationship (Especially Midway Games) with Namco. Right now, I hate Namco even more than Konami. I'll never forget that Harada asked SEGA where the VF6 was and that he actually said he couldn't make Ridge Racer.
