To be more specific, the altered burst artes you get by equipping the two of those skills with the same element. Equipping Chain and Hellfire gives you a fire element burst arte, Crucible and Athenor an earth element one, Alembic and Gale a wind element one, and Dispersion and Great Deluge for a water element one.

Hes a cameo in the arena and in a secret dungeon called the Ex Dungeon. Most Tales games have characters from other Tales games appearing but only in a minor way and in no way apart of the storyline,Kratos along with Barbatos and Shizel are Vesperia`s cameo characters.

Yup, he is Dhaos. He is one of the 4 cameos (guests characters) you can fight in Tales of Vesperia. The others are Shizel from Tales of Eternia, Barbatos from Tales of Destiny 2 and Kratos from Tales of Symphonia.

Yeah the first time I played vesperia I only had OL level one but if you look at your monster list you can see what enemy drops what and always check points of interest on the world map.

In case you have no idea how to do a mystic arte, i will explain. The Requirements are a lvl 3 over limit, and having the "special" skill equipped. Then while in lvl 3 over limit, do a arcane arte, and instead of pressing A for a burst arte, you press B and hold instead. You can also link a mystic arte from a burste arte.

For a mystic arte, you MUST be in over limit level 3 or 4 and hold B after an arcane, altered or burst arte. You first need to equip the skill "special" before this. For a burst arte, just hold A after an arcane or altered arte WHILE in over limit.

Fatal strike: When a triangle in a circle appeard, hold the right trigger. It will appear when you do a certain ammount of damage. Burst arte: Trigger an over limit, use an altered or acane art and hold down a. You can only do this after meeting 'tweedle a and tweedle b' at Halure.

@theVoxvirus use these skills: chain/hellfire, dispersion/great deluge, gale/alembic, and athenor/crucible. By using a pair they will change the burst arte. Yuri for example: chain/hellfire will give him Divine wolf blaze, dispersion and great deluge will give him Divine wolf Flood ETC! Mystic artes can be used with level 3 or higher overlimit and useing an arcane arte or above and hold B (for xbox) at the end. Hope that helped....

@Gawain4991 that is because, they were recorded, as not having been discovered yet. For instance, To change Divine Wolf to Divine Wolf Blaze, you need the Flamberge, the first time you use an altered arte, it is labeled as such.

@SilvAndRef The Different Burst artes are altered artes by using skills to alter the arte. Example: Yuri's Divine Wolf Blaze is used by equipping the Hell Fire skill and using divine wolf. Each character has at least several altered burst artes (as shown in the video obviously). Go to GameFAQ to look up an arte guide to see what skilles are needed to use different altered artes. I hope this answers your question :). And no its not sad. It wasn't until I went to the last dungeon i discovered it

its not an extension, its a second version of it and you can do it whenever you want. And I'm the one that posted that vid showing how to do it. (in english at least)

its part of the secret mission against the final boss' 2nd form. You have to finish him with a Mystic Arte (not necesary to win the battle though) and if Yuri's the one that finishes him then he gets that extension. The others just do their regular Mystic Arte, so its more epic to do it with Yuri anyway lol

Get the sword, the "Highlander." It has a skill called Hit Plus where if you rapidly jam the B button during his mystic arte, you get an extra like 20-25 hits.

Equip the arte-changing skills (i.e. Chain + Hellfire, Gale + Alembic, etc) and use your burst arte like normal. Depending on what skill set you used, your burst arte will change accordingly. Synthesize for Limit Trio

Frost stones can be found from the ice enemies in the Blade Drifts of Zopheir. For ASAP synthing, the Sands of Kogorh will change from day to night (night will have ice enemies) until you defeat the boss there.

Have you completed the labyrinth yet? You need to complete a secret dungeon called the Labyrinth of Memories by collecting pieces of Fake Gald. Afterwards, you will fight Kratos (Traitor to Heaven), who will drop a challenge letter for him and the other cameos to appear in the arena, unlocking the 200-man melee.

If you want to use mystic artes you need to do four things.(during battle) 1. have the skill "Special" on. 2. have your overlimit bar at lv three of four. 3. go into overlimit (duh). 4. hold down the B button while using an arcane or burst arte (arcane artes are easier to use).

The Fake Gald is found in random chests and obtained after fighting certain bosses from the past, so I guess you may have to spend some time finding chests and fighting enemies. If you are confused, there are various walkthroughs that show where to go.

It's a small extension to his mystic arte at the end of the fight with Duke. It only activates if his mystic arte depletes Duke's remaining HP.

They find a book about a 'legend' that came from another world--eventually some things happen and they end up trapped in the Labyrinth of Memories, Kratos shows up after the ridiculously long dungeon. After beating him, they reach the conclusion that it was all a trick by some old immortal mage who travels through time--but Kratos leaves a letter of challenge to meet him in the coliseum--viola...you fight Kratos. There ya go.

ODIN9988: By equipping items that have the skills called: Chain, Hellfire, Crucible, Athenor, Alembic, Gale, Dispersion and Great Deluge, you can alter Divine Wolf to be each of those. Look for synthesizing swords like the "Flamberge" and "Vorpal Sword" to get these skills.

Maybe this might answer everyone's question about Yuri's extension to Savage Wolf Fury at the end. Maybe because it was the final boss, so Yuri did an extra finisher probably because the final boss's health was low already. Just my theory.

@Onlymaybe7 While in overlimit level 3 or higher, perform an arcane arte/spell or higher and hold B to perform the mystic arte. You need to have the special skill active to do it. Hope that explains it.
