Loved the vid, I just have something to correct which might be wrong. Its Ceuta not Ceta but the original name is "Sbta" which the Moroccans call it and is of Amazigh origin. Tangier was an international city which was under control of every single nation within the Berlin conference at one point and it switched rulership every 2 years which is why the city has many named streets from other nations capitals also the law system in Tangier was non-existent which drove a lot of people to the city and also because of the fact that many people were displaced and that many places were unsafe which is why the city tripled in population and had such an high GDP per capita. Also the problem behind Morocco and Spain having such bad relations is because Spain doesn't hold on to their close partnerships and they think they can get away with it, For example last year Morocco didn't protect these borders because Spain accepted an war criminal into their hospital without saying that to Morocco or the EU which angered Morocco considering the fact that this man was the leader of the Polisario and had open cases abt crimes againt humanity which he didn't attend and now Spain helps him??? And also the fact that he entered Spain with an fake algerian passport, but at the same time Spain cries abt illegal immigration and doesn't allow Moroccans to visit Spain easily. Its just one of the many problems there are but still after that both nations have strong agreements which they don't like too lose.

I was there 50 years ago as a young US traveler, it was a culture shock. Hash, kids following ask for money, tea house at night with all men passing the hashish pipe. Enjoyed watching your video, looks much cleaner now.

Keep it up :) Sorry to see some people bothering you in old medina askin for money just to let you know that this area rely 100% on tourists if they didn't sell their products and services they have nothing to eat they don't have another source of income, you haven't seen people in lockdown period crying because they have absolutely $0 in their pocket, So they are excused, and if you go elsewhere outside of this area no one gonna ask you for something, Also I had so much fun hearing you spelling "Ceuta" "Keuta" lol, put it in google translator and see how it should be spelled... You should've visited the American legation in the tangier medina the first American public property outside the United states, gifted for the us government by Morocco in 1820 after the moroccan pirates agreed not to attack the American ships in the Atlantic, its now a museum run by the us state department, also tangier was known as a hot spot for espionage and spies in the height of ww2 as it was an international territory so everyone had access to it, and in the 80s it was a hot spot for hippies looking to smoke hash and chill

You are one of the smartest tourist , just few corrections , Tangier was not occupied by France , it was actually an International City run by 6 international powers (including the US) , Tangiers is the home of the first American diplomatic representation ...and the indigo blue color you see in the Moroccan medina is due to the strong Jewish influence on the country ....welcome and have fun....

( - 2000 nearly befor C)...And Tanger was international during the two world wars...and the hash in 2020 becam like any tabaco, legal for industries in USA, Morocco,...🤗 ( and sorry for my bad english).

Some IMPORTANT corrections: It won't be too long, I promise -Arab(Ummayad) occupation of Morocco lasted from 708/9 to 740 when the locals revolted in what's called the Great Berber Revolt, so they literally ruled Morocco less than the french did, the reason they left a bigger impact is simply beacuse of their brutality and their convert pay tribute or die policy. Later the Berbers elected an Arab ruler of shia denomination(Idrissids), but he was ELECTED by the local chiefs and his army was berber and did not have all that much power to Arabize even less replace the local population. -The mass Arabization of the Western Maghreb started much later down the history during Almohad rule who defeated some bandit Arab tribes and instead of bannishing them,they welcomed them in the Maghreb mostly in the Tamsna plain. The reason behind it was to have more manpower to fight the Iberian kings as these tribes were warrior tribes. As soon as the central power of the Almohads dwindled, these tribes would go on to start a slow arabization process sponsored sometimes by berber kings to subdue their rival berber clans.

I liked a lot about Morocco when I traveled around, especially Fez. But it became increasingly frustrating that I couldn't go anywhere without someone asking for money for random things (like guiding me somewhere I wasn't really interested in going). The only other place I think I've ever been where random people on the street expected me to give them money (for basically nothing) was San Francisco.

It's not "refugee" crisis, it is "illegal immigrant" crisis, by all definitions. All the the non Europeans who want to invade Europe are in a safe country, so they can seek refuge in Morocco. They "can't be sent to back to where they came bc of racist ONG's who think first about the rights of foreigners and then about the rights of the locals. On the other hand I don't understand why you never talk about the reality of countries like Morocco. I have a suggestion, in Europe promote the implementation of the racist laws they have in Morroco, esp. about Muslims, like Morocco has about non Muslims?
