Jhalana Leopard Reserve on the edge of Jaipur has one of the densest leopard populations. It is the ideal place for any wildlife lover to go on a safari and catch a view of these majestic animals. It is known as India's leopard capital and any safari here is more than likely to spot a leopard in the wild. But what is it like living on the edge of this reserve? And what is being done to protect this landscape and its wildlife? In this video, I explore these questions as well as go on a safari to try and spot a leopard together with Dr. Joy from Hope and Beyond!

Jhalana Leopard Reserve in Jaipur is absolutely wonderful destination, however Leopard Capital and Kingdom of India is Jawai Hills National Park at Pali District in Rajasthan State. Jawai Hills is also home to Black Sloth Bear Sanctuary. Documented in National Geographic and Discovery Channels as well.

You're fairly close to a whole bunch of wildlife sanctuaries, sariska and ranthambore are a couple of hours away. From ranthambore you could hop across to kuno where cheetahs from your part of the world are being relocated. A few hours from there would be shivpuri , then a few hours to panna and then 4 hrs to kanha. They're all fairly magnificent forested areas and most are tiger reserves as well.
