2024 OLYMPICS VLOG P1 (travelling, airbnb tour, day 1 matches)

hey everyone!! welcome to my 2024 paris olympics vlog!! I tried to get my footage edited as quickly as possible so you guys could watch the video asap!! In this video, I take you guys with me to travel from toronto to paris, give you a tour of my airbnb, and bring to day one of the olympic badminton matches!! I got to watch a bunch of intense matches including viktor axelsen, kim astrup, anders skaarup rasmussen, kang min hyuk, seo seung jae, and of course vins and josh!! enjoy :))

Honestly, super happy to have seen your vlog at random!!! Super well done overall! As a Frenchman that also went to the Badminton event at the Olympics, atmosphere was pretty wild, considering it’s « just » badminton (especially today with Topov’s win)! French crowds aren’t huge for regular season games, but France goes all in when it comes to supporting the country in big events. Across all events, you have a corner of seats that are dedicated to « Club France » fans, where each area is led by a chief « crowd’s (wo)man » who starts chants and encouragement for who ever is competing and representing France! Also Badminton is pretty popular in France all year round, with schools (mostly middle/high schoolers) making badminton one of the core sports being played during school year, and is also a popular social sport that people enjoy practicing outside of work, with friends/family/coworkers (not uncommon to see people play it on the beach as well!)! But yeah, great job on the video, congrats to your boyfriend for being an Olympian, and hope you enjoy the rest of the events! (I’ll watch the other Paris vlogs right away lol)
