Ras is incredible. Nature of the Threat is one of the finest pieces of art that a human ever produced. Although I don't agree with everything said it in it, you still got to appreciate the greatness achieved in that song. So that alone cements Ras as one of the best rappers ever imo, even though maybe not everything he released matched the genius of penmanship and vocal skills in that song.

Rass is a generational talent. His style is west coast but lyrical. A real MC, and definitely not a sell out! He could’ve chased the bread. I almost think Miami Vice was the only song that went mainstream because of Coolio being cameo’d on it. And it was on the soundtrack of the Substitute with who would have guessed Mark Anthony. Keep rapping Rass, and Interview with the Vampire really blew my mind. Not just the message but the fact he spit 3 different people/views in one song. Flowers

Ras is top 3 in the GOAT lyricists discussion. I finally got around to listening to his post-2010 material (which I never knew existed) and Ras is still nice with the pen and on the mic unlike many of his contemporaries from the late 90s golden era whose pen game has taken a sharp decline. 20th Anni SOI, SOI2:IP, Blasphemy, etc are all dope. Great artist, great interview.

I like the young lady, she adds to the conversation in a good way which is a rare trait in podcasts these days. In my opinion Ras has the greatest pen ever. Nature of the threat, Ordo Abcao, How to kill God, Deliver us from evil and others. No other rapper writes with that type of impact to me.

I got to meet & hangout with Ras Kass in Columbus Ohio in 2013. I was kinda surreal. Been a Ras Kass fan since the 90s & really forgot about him through the 2000s. About 2007 or 08 I rediscovered Ras Kass & started listening to his old stuff and stuff I missed. 2013 I was at this Gaming store called Vgmx I frequented alot because I'm a gamer & it was right across the street from my apartment. I happened to stop in there and 1 of the guys who worked there said yea some rapper named Ras Kass I supposed to be here...Im like Ras Kass??? He said yea you know him?? I was like are you lying lol. Long story short Ras was mad cool. I think he had Ray Cash with him.
