I remember I would ride the bus and listen to Reapiration with all three of them laying it down. 3 of my favorite emcees. Have to throw Pharoahe Monch in there, Slum Villa, ATCQ, LOTNS, Gang Star, Big L, Def Squad, EPMD, Common, The Alkaholiks Tash, XZibit, Pitch Black, MOP, AZ, Red Man, Wu-Tang, DMX, Drag-on, Eve, The Lox, Ja Rule(3:36 fan), Kurupt, DPG, Nate, Warren G, RBX, Out Kast, The Dungeon Family, Goodie Mob, Slim Calhound, Mobb Deep, Juvenile, E-40, Bad Azz, The EastSidaz, DJ Quik, King T, Ice T, Flip Mode, Rah Digga, Foxy Brown, Doggy’s Angels. Omg. There are so many. I will be typing for days. I spent these records as a youngster and knew then that those were always going to be timeless treasures. Fast Foward to 2024 and not many have even come close.
