Taliban has issued a new edict which says that women in Afghanistan would be publicly flogged and stoned to death for adultery. Since coming to power in 2021, the Taliban promise their new regime would be open-minded and moderate. But the new government has not been any different from the Taliban regime of the late 1990s. In over two years, Taliban authorities have excluded Afghan women and girls from ever more spheres of public life, including high school and university, as well as parks, fairs or gyms. This comes as Afghanistan remains on the verge of collapse with growing poverty. So why is the Taliban only targeting women and girls? Palki Sharma tells you.

Morever, adulttry can cause transmitions of STDs which can sometimes cause people to become infertile and can cause very painful side effecrs or can even cause the weakening of the immune system making those people more prone to illnessess in the future. Moreover, if a person commits adultry while in a realationship with another person it can cause the person who they have an affair on to develop serious mental illness due them being cheated and moreover, if they have children it can yet again cause profound impacts on the child with life long concequences that affected not only them but all of society As a result, the impacts of adultry are not only felt on oneself, but affects their family and all of society as a whole, and so that is why islam punishes adultry for BOTH GENDERS in order to prevent all the issues that I stated, that occur as a direct result of adultry.
