Just bought this scope from Todd as a second scope. So far from what I seen this compares with my Super Hogster A3. The Super Hogster was over 3200 with 18860 rechargeable. Buy from Huey Outdoors got my scope in two days and paid no sales tax saved enough money to get the better mount.

Impressive clarity considering how hot the nights are in TX right now. Love to see the image quality when cooler Fall temps hit.

Another great video Todd - love the no BS straight forward stance you've always kept! NUC was @ 12sec interval on the 1st NUC to the 2nd. I'll be looking closer at this scope thanks to you're video here. 👍

I asked they said no plans as of now. In my opinion that would be dumb if they plan on keeping the Thermion line.

I bought 2 Talion XQ 38 scopes July of last year, $4,598 out the door, without a doubt the best bang for your buck for an "entry level" thermal scope. One of the scopes has been flawless. The other scope shuts down under recoil and has 2 dead pixels, has been that way since new. Good to see that it is possibly just a simple battery issue. I'm driving it over to Pulsar to be looked at under warranty.
@LoneStarBoars Жыл бұрын
Should be able to fix those pixels with the pixel repair tool in the menu. As for batteries it’s crazy can’t tell a difference by looking at them but the APS5t definitely works vs the original.
@EC-mc7vg Жыл бұрын
@@LoneStarBoars I did see the pixel repair in the menu but was afraid I might screw something up as I wasn't sure how the pixel repair worked, and that I was already needing to take it in for warranty work for the shut down issue. Hopefully they can just put the updated battery in and it will be good to go. I guess if I had any sense I would swap the batteries in my scopes and see if I get the same problem with the scope that has been perfect so far. Thank you for the reply. Do you know if these scope lose power and shut off like these do if they lose their zero? Seems like zero may be off because I have missed a couple of easy shots and couldn't figure out how in the world I missed.

How good can it spot a squirel in tree line day time? Im in louisiana can be hot and humid. I understand to use for squirel hunting

Do you sneak up from downwind side or they leave? Did some shots go through and through as saw dirt flying? What you said about a good scope having a secondary dot predicting bullet impact; is that too much info to process as you hunt? What red dot would you recommend for a P22?

Talion. I refuse to support the communist Chinese military. Buy AGM and that’s exactly what you are doing.

I have the XQ 38 and the darn thing will shut off after the shot on occasion. The door is fully closed. I think the horizontal placement of the battery is the issue. Are you experiencing the same with the Pro 35?
@LoneStarBoars Жыл бұрын
You need the new aps5t battery. They also made improvements in the pro it’s a non issue now.

Hi. Been a subscriber here for a while. Do you have a suggestion for a good but cheap thermal system I could use in the UK. Its all so expensive here
@LoneStarBoars Жыл бұрын
I would think pulsar would be fairly similar there. They use French cameras and are made in Lithuania.

The smoke detector beeping and the "wind" was really distracting. You need a noise gate. Hit me up if you need help with your audio. I would be more than happy to help. Great review.

Pulsar needs to whittle down their battery models. They have bricks and two different proprietary 18650 style- when it should be just off the rack 18650 across the board and maybe dual C123 for the Thermion supplemental batteries.
