Super aircraft carriers are nice and all, but they only rule a over a sea or sector or theater because its also in a group or escort or the like. and it cant do too much for land other than sortie to bomb targets. But the power of the Amphibious Assault Carrier. like a the Wasp class, is amazing to bring an aircraft carrier platform, combined with a full beaching party of marines, and a compliment of what ever they need. Sure, you can load a super carrier up with humvees and marines to air drop or land on a target then unload. OR, you can load an M1A1 into a hover transport carrier with 3 squads of marines and beach the target location. or x2 LAV-25s or x4 humvees. sometimes thats too unprotective. how about some AAVP7A1s and LAV-25s just swim across? all wile receiving AH-1Z and F-35B support. its an advantage that most powers dont have. Yes, the new US Super Carrier, the Ford. can bring along an airforce half the size of Russia's entire airforce combined. to claim air superiority. but if it was an actual invasion? the LHD will be sailing right next to the Ford in a large battlegroup.

I envision such ships launching STAL type air tankers in order to refuel land based air superiority aircraft in the air. I hear the big carriers are bringing back S-3 Vikings as air tankers and I also noted that many helicopters are fast enough to match speeds and refuel air superiority fighters, though I have yet to find photos of fighters refueling from helicopters.

I was in engineering department, repair division on the WASP from 2004-2007. Worked with some really great people and a few not so great. Good ship as long as you keep up the maintenance. We used to have major issues with the boilers and had both evaporators go down at the same time. Good times though.

This ship has everything needed to kick some ass. Marines, jets, Ospreys, choppers, and the hovercraft... What more do you need, to do an assault on a coastline? In addition, add regular carriers, missile ships, subs, etc. Note to adversaries: you might want to avoid being the focus of all that firepower and mobility. Muahahaha!

I rode on the Wasp back in 98 med float. Any future marines that read this the best place on the boat to sleep is the rudder control room at the bottom of the boat. Ya I called her a boat. Not gonna tell what her nickname was back then just know not a single marine was involved in it.

All of my sea duty was underwater. Submarines are amazing, but I wish I had a year or two in the surface navy. LCAC's, F -35, all types of helicopters, osprey including tools and parts. . Plus, all of the armor, troops and supplies onboard. This is the ultimate toy hauler.

The U.S. now as it stands needs 14 carriers on the high seas period. Better listen to Ronald Reagan. He had a point. So why be hard headed. What I’m saying is carry an overwhelming big stick!!! Folks put pressure on Congress to get it done!

For proficiency maritime operations gives you the ability to operate on the various environments and experience doing it the maritime rescue and this gives us ability to know what's going on in our area be able to rescue people and this is what makes your Navy more proficient the more you can save lives the better you could Patrol your and protect your neighbours and allies Maritime and the Army Navy Airforce Marines and the operations were conducted in 2020, showed us that we could protect our Shores from President Trump we can protect our Shores and we can protect our border from illicit drugs and all these other types of encouragement but it makes your army proficient trained all the time working all the time, what's not a bad thing, Maritime rescue gives you the ability no matter what emergency emergency you've already been experienced to it and you're able to implement it to President Trump using the Army and Navy and Airforce to protect our sovereignty when it comes to Alisa drugs was a magnificent success

Maritime rescue you approach the ship and there's 45 people aboard it now you have to experience of rescuing those people bring them aboard your ship treating them triage surgery all this type of thing you have experienced for so the best thing to do with the Army Navy Airforce and Marines and we've been doing for many years is maritime rescue
@Dra741
@Dra741 2 жыл бұрын
The army that uses its military when it's not engaged in major military operations to rescue people is the Army that's going to Prevail and be more proficient on the battlefield I want to see more training exercises in the Pacific oh, we have some interesting and I'm quite impressed with the 7th Fleet, and other assets have contributed to and the new future area that must be considered the most important strategic area and we're going to be we're being attacked in those areas with jamming and all the stuff I don't know how you guys can load them to jama's you must have a good reason for

Fully submersible and Amphibious all terrain LCATs,that can drive,float and fight,and resupply without a deep water port.as a all terrain, submarine underwater,LCATs and a drivable saturated diving platform for oil and gas.such as crane ir autonomous rescue vehical.that can be driven on bottom with hi floatation air and water filled tires nuch like a mining truck or haul packs.but is also a true sub.with its own batteries,solar when semi. or the pinnacle of the diesel electric technology before nuclear came along but a nuclear powered supersized permanent semi.or completely submersible bottom TITAN..that it brings the shore to it wherever it would need or want to go.thevrussians had concrete subs we never knew about...now do you see the advabtages if a concrete and steel underwater plateform that is of such immense proportions i dare not describe here now..use your minds imagination..and let it fly.float fight resupply.and manuver anywhere without any ports as it needs.

It's very important that the Japanese and the US forces in the region have complete ability to communicate with and coordinate, and the only way to achieve that is by constant training, and learning the language boots on the ground, we must continue these exercises and training because we're going to be faced with something quite some challenges in the South Pacific if Biden gets into office just Chinese will seize the South China Sea immediately,

Now THIS is an amphibious ASSAULT ship! Lots of these and far fewer large carriers is the answer to naval aircraft dispersal to make many targets instead of one big one. The age of the Supercarrier is over with the advent of the new hypersonic anti-ship missles. BTW, I saw a British Accuracy International AW sniper rifle there. Interesting and must be Australian B/C the Marines will be getting the new BARRETT MRAD soon ibn .300 PRC and .338 Lapua.

what we need is about 50 of these small vessels, with about 20 f-35b fighters and about 30 osprey squad lift heli's. The ship itself should be powered with molten salt thorium reactors that will roll anywhere in the world without oilers following them everywhere. That way the only fuel they need shipped with is aviation fuel for the f-35's and Osprey for explosive force of arms anywhere with good marines. Then we could actually fight a war if necessary instead of the white elephant aircraft carriers we now have that will feel the wrath of overwhelming numbers of chinese rockets flying with the air full of those damned things. Too few, too big, too expensive and could be broken down into small enough units with these instead.
