Lovely to see the history of Porthleven and it's people. So many included here that I knew well in my childhood. Fantastic memories.

Glad it brought back the old memories. That is what it was all about. We are trying to encourage people to add their recollections of their lives in Porthleven to the museum archives. All they have to do is either send them to us or add them to social media with the letters PLVCM which we can take as an authority to add them. Much more to do yet.

The whole idea was to give our community a history of their roots, The community has come alive and out of hibernation. We could not have wished for anything more. Every community has its own history waiting to come out of hibernation. It just takes one person to take that first step
