From what I learned, the foot have more nerves than the palm. The reason we have more nerves on the foot is something related to danger reflex, since evolution caused us to learn to only walk on two feet, our foot became more sensitized to allow us to quickly detect whats beneath it, example: a sharp object, as well as to detect terrain or surfaces we walk on. However, there is also another factor which causes the foot to be even more sensitive, the invention of shoes. Those who walk around without shoes usually developed harden skins, like caluses. Same thing goes for the hand, the more you expose them, the more desensitized they gets. Due to massive nerves supplies, the foot is generally used as an indicator to detect underlying nervous impairment. For example, detecting diabetic foot, vitamin deficiency, spleen problem, infections etc, as the nerves in the foot are connected to just about every organs in your body. Edit 1: There has been assumptions that the amount of nerves in the foot is based on genetics as well. Some people might not even feel a thing in their foot, while others are so sensitive it even causes sexual arousal when foot tickled.

Though I didn't do it properly. But she became really surprise when I had told her where is eye, kidney, nose, neck, badder etc! She didn’t understand that how could I know this! 😂😂
