I'm just going to put this here. 09/24/2022, my mother went to the hospital and never came home. Today, 09/23/2023 marks the day a year ago I last spoke to her. This song is literally my way to hold on to her. I admit, sometimes I can't listen to it when it comes on the radio, I'll recognize the first note and immediately change the station, but it's not because it isn't an amazing song, it's just I can't handle all of the emotions between the lyrics and what I've mentally attached the song to.
