David Platt He is a tremendous actor and musician who was first recognized on a large scale when he wrote much of the music for and starred as the titular character in “A Very Potter Musical” (available on KZbin through the ‘StarKid’ page). He then shot to fame when he landed a role on “Glee,” and is now nominated for an acting Emmy for his role in “American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace,” and he is the favourite to win. He has been Emmy nominated before in the category of ‘Best Original Song’ for the song ‘This Time,’ which he wrote for the final episode of “Glee.” Beyond that, he has been on Broadway twice (“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”), and has released three EPs, two solo and one with his and his brother’s band, ‘Computer Games.’ He frequently goes on tour and has just finished a tour with his “Glee” costar, Lea Michele. Earlier this year, he and his fiance opened a piano bar called ‘Tramp Stamp Granny’s,’ and that is a brief history of Darren Criss. Also, one should be aware that he is just about the nicest, most humble, most genuine star out there. Sorry this is two years late. :)
